Struggled getting my tickets to scan, then had to wait as they couldn't find anyone to supervise, then had to wait for someone else to come with a different scanner, it was happening to a lot of people even though we had our codes at the ready.
When the show finished, I was waiting for my friend coming back from the washroom and I was literally pushed because the floor was getting closed. The security guy literally yelled and me and GRABBED me from my arm. Extremely disrespectful. I understand they were closing but my friend was just coming. No sense of empathy and I felt aggressively violated.
Purchased tickets for Oasis last September. Received plenty of updates regarding availability for ticket app and transportation along with accessibility options. Only one thing is that purchased a souvenir ticket and havnt a clue how that works as received nothing
Justin Timberlake was amazing as always I cannot fault him or the show but the venue was a disgrace. The roads to the venue were not fit for purpose or the car parks. They were fields that were poorly lit with holes and there was no traffic management at all. It took us until 1:40 am to get out of a car park when the show finished just after 11 with a long drive home so we did not get home until after 3am!! We were told to print out a blue ticket to put in our car, no one checked and I do not know what the point in that was as like I said there was no organisation. Please do not put on another event here, the stories I have seen online of people walking on dual carriageways and the chaos we all endured to get out was so dangerous. I think a refund for parking is the least that can be offered.
Dear Event Organiser/Venue ManagerI am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the severe mismanagement of parking and traffic control during the Justin Timberlake concert held at Chelmsford Racecourse on the 4th of July, 2025.While the concert itself was an incredible experience, the overall event was significantly overshadowed by the unacceptable parking and traffic conditions, both on arrival and departure.On arrival, we spent over 2 hours and 20 minutes queueing in traffic due to the lack of signage and poor direction to parking areas. There were no clear signs or stewards to assist, which left many attendees confused, frustrated, and delayed. Once finally parked, we had to walk approximately a mile to reach the venue.However, the most distressing part was after the event. We were directed to the BLUE parking zone, where we along with hundreds of others became completely gridlocked. From 11:00 PM until 2:30 AM, we were stuck without movement, unable to exit the parking area. There was no traffic coordination, no staff directing cars, and no apparent plan in place to manage the large volume of vehicles leaving simultaneously. As a result, we had no choice but to sleep in our car while queueing. We eventually arrived home just before 3:00 AM, although we had expected to return by midnight at the latest.This experience was not only frustrating but unsafe. In the event of a medical emergency, there would have been no way for emergency vehicles to reach anyone trapped in those queues a truly alarming oversight in planning.We sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously. Many attendees expressed that they would not consider attending another event at this venue due to this poorly managed experience.I request that you: '? ? ?
