Ticketmaster was fantastic in keeping me informed of tickets, downloading them but not enough staff at the venue. No signal or WiFi either. Traffic was horrendous getting into venue. Queues for drinks and food over an hour and it took 2 and half hours to get out of car park. Police had closed exits so everyone was just sitting there. Will definitely not be going to this venue again. Feels like it was all about how much money you could make and not about the experience of all of the people who had paid a lot of money for tickets. Mismanaged. You know how many people had bought tickets
Concert cancelled. Disgusted that neither Ticketmaster nor Lytham festival.com announced this finding out instead from a third party at 7pm. I travelled 7 hours on a train from Kings Lynn for this event. You have contacted me nearly 24 hours later rubbing salt in the wound to ask how the experience was.
I put tickets up for re sale 2 weeks before the concert. No communication re the sale. My only way to find out wether they had been sold was to attempt to rebuy via the site. I was told on numerous occasions that there was only 1 ticket available. So assuming I had sold 1. On the Eve of the concert I received an email saying neither had been sold . How can that be possible?
The bus from Chelmsford was horrendous. No safety in the car park. No organisation or direction. No buses. Roads gridlocked. Eating vans had hour long queues or ran out of items right at the beginning. Could not cope with the volume of people. Concert was amazing. Jess Glynne and Justin Timberlake were both fantastic.
The show what there was of it was good. Ricky jervais was only on for one hour. Not impressed with that at all. I won't book to see him again. Also the price of alcohol is ridiculous. I just refuse now to buy a drink in the arena. Most people go to Weaherspoons first. Much cheaper. It took longer than normal to exit the arena and we were sent down an emergency exit in the end
I found the ticket price really expensive in relation to the event. Appreciate that Basement Jaxx are fab, but for '? ?20 more I could see them at a festival on a day ticket. I think this is reflective in the take-up of the event as well. I was particularly disappointed to hear that the venue were discounting tickets heavily to make up numbers. Otherwise the event was really fun and well organised.
