Mohammad was absolutely brilliant at looking after me and kept on top of my specialist order really well!Little bit disappointed that I had such a long delay when I came for my initial eye test, but Mohammad kept me informed with what was happening and tried to rectify the delays as much as he could.
I had lens replacement at Milton Keynes optical express Norfolk house. I could not be happier with my experience. Laila is a credit to this group from start to finish Laila was so helpful and put me at ease. Andras is excellent to. My surgeon explained everything to me before surgery. The aftercare I have received is the best I could ask for. Thank so much Laila.

Disappointing and Misleading ConsultationI booked an appointment with Optical Express after being told that I was now a suitable candidate for laser eye surgery, despite being previously informed I couldna€™t have it due to wearing varifocals. I specifically asked for the earliest possible appointment due to work commitments and was given 9:10am. However, two days before the appointment, I still hadna€™t received any medical questionnaire. When I rang to chase it, I was told the earliest available time was actually 10am.I arrived at 9:30am and was left waiting until 10:02am, despite there being two optometrists and a receptionist on site. When I asked for some water, I was told there was none available a€” though eventually I was given a mug with a small amount.The initial examination was frustrating. I was told I wasna€™t suitable for laser eye surgery after all due to wearing varifocals a€” exactly the same reason I was told not to bother last time. I was also informed Ia€™d still need to wear glasses, making the entire appointment seem pointless.Despite having rearranged work and transport for this appointment, I continued with the consultation. The second optometrist then commented on my a€œbaggy eyelidsa€ ? and asked if I had considered Botox. As an aesthetic nurse who already has Botox, this came across as an inappropriate and obvious upsell.I was finally quoted a ?7,779 for lens replacement surgery a€” a completely different procedure than what I had originally enquired about.Altogether, this was a waste of my time and theirs. I left feeling frustrated, misled, and disappointed by the poor communication, lack of basic facilities, and upselling tactics. I would not recommend.

Had cataract surgery in both eyes at the Nottingham branch. Very impressed with all aspects of the operation. Pre surgery information was very clear, the day of the operation went extremely well, with pleasant, professional staff. Aftercare is also very good. Can thoroughly recommend the company.

She was gentle and thorough when scanning my eyes, and Shafiqa the optometrist explained everything clearly and put me completely at ease. Sasha at reception was super friendly and welcoming, and another receptionist (not from the MK branch) was just as kind and helpful. Reschedule my appointment with 48 hours of appointment to find out i had been charge a ?50. I booked another appointment within the 2 weeks, a family member had some bad news regarding health so cancelled my appointment on the 20th June ( appointment was 25th) to be told I would be charge another 50 pound. This company only care about money, I certainly wouldn't allow them to mess with my eyes uncaring company. Please go else where. Head office didn't care or the shop in chelmford Essex. Go some where else who cares.

I got Lasik in both eyes at the Belfast clinic. All staff were lovely and put me at ease. There was no pain at all. Highly recommend.
