Optical express in Southampton was my closest branch. Priya and Anita were amazing at my first appointment, putting me at ease and guiding me through the tests.Surgery yesterday with Igor and his team was a straightforward well organized procedure. Check up today and vision is amazing. Thankyou all at Southampton, youa€™re a great team.
Visited Wolverhampton today and was talked through replacement lens surgery with the very lovely Amy, wow so kind knowledgable and welcoming , really put you at ease very impressed
My husband had his cataract procedure done by optical express , consultation was in Perth , 2 weeks later procedure done in Edinburgh, The staff at consultation to the procedure and the after care was amazing, staff so friendly , very informative, surgeon was amazing , check up following day in Edinburgh was thorough, I would highly recommend optical express. My husband cana€™t believe how clear he could see the same night , everything went so smoothly ,
Every member of staff from the receptionist to the surgeon were brilliant both at Leicester and Nottingham.My eyesight after two days is remarkable.Would recommend Optical Express

Consultation with the Leicester team was very helpful and informative, they made me feel at ease and spoke through all my options with me. I was then booked into for the procedure itself with the Nottingham team, again the practice was clean, professional and efficient. All the staff ensured I was comfortable and at ease at all times. Highly recommend both teams to anyone thinking about having the procedure themselves!!
Booked in for surgery at Edinburgh clinic on 21/7/25. @1230pm. Turned up on time only to be told by reception staff that we are tardy today, not what I want to hear when Ia€™m having eye surgery.She then informed me instead of 2 hours in the clinic it would be 3, at this point she knew but did not inform me the surgeon had missed his flight and was running late.I ended up being in the clinic for 6 hoursI live 20 mins from the clinic, I could easily have been phoned and told to come in later.All in all the place seemed chaotic with no communication from the staff regarding how long we were being held back for.I had 3 people waiting to see how I got on as they were contemplating the same procedure.Safe to say I have encouraged them to look elsewhere!

I am so disappointed in the service provided in Cardiff. My surgery was booked for this Thursday then I was contacted Monday late afternoon informing me I had to go to a last minute check up Wednesday afternoon and apologies for late notification. When I explained that I could only get there after 4pm due to work commitments they cancelled my surgery. I've organised my month around this, how can this be good customer service?
