I was stupid enough to book a hotel room through Guest Reservation. I never received an email confirmation but my credit card was charged. I also called the hotel and they confirmed that no reservation had been made. I tried to call Guest Reservation’s customer support several times but only ended up in a meaningless coversation with an AI chatbot (no possibility to get a human contact).This site is a scam and I recommend everybody to stay faraway from this company
Guest reservations is a scam. On 2/24/2025 I made a 2 nights reservation at a hotel oversees through "guest rereservations.com". The night was $154.25. After using my credit card and paying for the 2 nights, the total charge showed as $435.98 that included $127.45 as Tax Recovery Charges $ Service Fees. I immediately received a confirmation email, but this time from "confirmations" @ "hotelvalues.com" . The email stated that my reservation has been prepaid and is fully guaranteed. To my surprise when I arrived to the hotel on 3/23/2025, the date of checking in, there was no trace what so ever of my booking at the hotel. None of the reference number, the confirmation number, nor my first and or last name showed any made reservations what so ever. I had to book another room and pay again to stay in the hotel. After returning to the US I contacted the help and support phone number to get a refund. They asked me to direct my request through an email with all evidence, which I did immediately. I include the checkout email from the hotel and the new invoice. Except this time I was given the email address of "customercare" @ "pps.priceline.com". After a few days of back and forth emails, they informed me that they will not issue any refunds. And thus, I lost $435.98 to this scam.Be careful and stay away from these online services. They will show you how good of a deal you are making and try to rush you into making the payment. The case I created with price line is case #CN06109840. My booking reference is #R5470458243.Nabil M.
I didn’t confirm the payment! I saw that the web site is charcing a lot more when I click the pay button. Then the web site asked for my 3D secure code and I didn’t enter the code, in fact I clicked the ‘cancel payment’ button but it charged me anyways, I was just informes that the booking was completed. BUT I DIDN’T COMPLETE, I WANTED TO CANCEL BEFORE I PAY, I DIDN’T ENTER MY CODE AND IT CHARGED ME ANYWAY.
I am gutted. What a scam. I got caught like so many I read about. They come first on Google and looks like the hotel website. Once you pay the bill comes up to double the amount shown originally. I cancelled straight away and I am going to set up a dispute with the bank if I don't hear from them in the next coming days. So disappointed with this fraud on Google search.
Bad scam and bad business. Very difficult to reach by phone. By email they say they’ll respond in 7 days. If you need to change or cancel your reservation they are hard to reach. If anything goes wrong with your stay you have no recourse. They have a call center in Cambodia.
This company operates with deceptive practices! As soon as you enter your credit card details, hidden fees appear, and the transaction goes through without your approval. There is no way to cancel before payment is taken. They are stealing money from customers with no transparency!DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS AGENCY – YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!
Made a mistake with the reservation.Instead of 2 nights I only wanted 1 night Called within 1 hour..Couldn’t be changed. Could be cancelled but no refund or what so ever Now I have an extra night for €250,- I’m not going to use .This is unacceptable
I thought I am on the hotel website and booked, paid - price was ok, not super cheap but normal. Then later I noticed the confirmation mail I got did not have a confirmation number or any such reference. So called the hotel directly - they did not know about my reservation.Without a reservation number I couldnt even try to cancel. And suspiciously enough a few days later my credit card got hacked.I think this is a scam site.
It is a legit business, but they try to trick you to think your are booking directly from the hotel, where you are not. And they charge you a massive service fee. I was really lucky, as my hotel was free cancellation and I cancelled my reservation and got my money back. I booked directly from the hotel and I $600 instead of $1000 which Guest Reservation was charging me.
Be careful! Fraud company. Check all the details of booking with hotel directly, through the phone. Important thing is ,site is pushing you to be in hurry with booking. This is must be ALARM for every one ,every where ,always. I call to the hotel . There was no aviability of such categories room ,even (see attachment).
