Mixed feelings

Abingdon (healthwise appointmen) has a super space for its gym and other facilities. Wantage gym ( my local) is a bit disappointing at the moment due to renovation. Hopefully this will pick up once the work has been finish

It is better with Better

I am really impressed with Better. I go to the Blaydon centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well looked after. I was accidentally charged for a swim session and this was resolved within 24 hours. The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is the busy app that has too much information in it and the door locking system sometimes popsup my wallet instead of opening the door but this might be an Apple thing?Overall Ia??m really pleased with my membership and the team are just brilliant. Thank you

Pay a ?0.20 extra each time to keep safe my belongings

I wanted to share some feedback regarding the locker system. I was surprised to find that using a locker requires a a ?0.20 coin each time, and unfortunately, this amount is not refunded. Considering that we already pay a fee to access the facilities, which are currently not fully available due to ongoing construction, it feels a bit unfair to incur an additional charge just to securely store personal belongings.The membership fee itself isna??t insignificant, and having to carry cash, especially coins, in this day and age feels quite outdated. Most people dona??t carry change anymore, and I believe many members would appreciate a more modern or flexible system, particularly when some of us already bring our own locks.Ita??s disappointing to feel like we have to choose between risking our belongings or spending extra money repeatedly. I hope this is something that can be reviewed to improve the overall experience for members.
