Review Time
I have read the reviews online regarding racism at this gym and after going there today and being subject to it myself Ia??m absolutely disgusted. We were swimming and got told to move to the slow lane as we werena??t going fast enough however our lane was empty and the other lane was too crowded. After this somebody joined our lane and proceeded to swim in the wrong direction mean that he kept bumping into us. After awhile we got fed up and decided to leave.I went to the lady on duty to inform her of this man and she told us that we were swimming in the wrong direction when I know that we werena??t. She then proceeded to say that we shouldna??t be swimming here if we cana??t adhere to the rules however I was trying to tell her that we were following the rules but he wasna??t. It was very evident that she was siding with him based on the colour of his skin just from the way that she was speaking to us and it was very very humiliating.
The pool is not bad but for older folk too often the water is cold and the changing cubicles not as clean as they should be.I do aqua aerobics and there are two very good instructors - Karen and Gideon.The receptionist Lamia is very charming and helpful. There is a cafe but for what it is, it is expensive.
My son moved to London to work, and joined the center. He does a class with Sean, and said that it's absolutely brilliant. Sean is professional, and passionate about his role. My sons fitness levels are at a peak. Good facilities, friendly staff, 5 stars
signed up for young persons gym membership.. the form says I need to upload proof of age.. when you upload it you just have option to prove you are a pensioner. So I uploaded young persons bus pass.A day later it says its rejected.I uploaded the passport and the next day it says its accepted and an invitation to the induction which starts 2 mins after the email was sent.Next day I get another email saying the passport is rejected.In the mean time the membership started 4 days ago and I cant use it. Could at the very least start the membership once the proof of age has been accepted.
