Overall I enjoy visiting this centre and particularly the swimming pool.In comparison with other centres it is great value and at times when it is quiet it feels like my own private pool but better because there are lifeguards! This centre does get a little busy at peak times particularly with children's swimming clubs but I do feel that the centre tries to accommodate everyone equally and listens to feedback.
The overall service there is horrible. They have no respect for customers time and membership. They cancel last minute saying that we double booked and they will always cancel the membership booking because they are greedy and alwats looking to make money. I have been doublw booked thrice.Also i have asked to pay non attendance fee even when my session got cancelled because of double booking and the cistoner service number ia totally useless as they do not have any rights in the system to help the customer even if theyvare in the wrong like charging unfare non attendance.
I feel so lucky to live within walking distance from Thornton Heath Leisure centre. I swim there every morning. The pool is great, large wide lanes that you can overtake easily in, access to a steam room and sauna, always greeted by a friendly helpful and welcoming staff, Ia??mSo grateful to the centre as it provides me and the wider community such a life line to physical and mental health, and Ia??ve met so many wonderful people and friends from the community there, it makes up a big part of my social life too. Recently me and another swimmer approached the center about providing a drop in table tennis session for anybody to join, expanding the activities that are available at the center and facilitating our vision of further connecting others from the community. Ryan, the centre manager has been really helpful with supporting this upcoming venture. I havena??t used the gym or classes, but my wife does and she enjoys them both. Many thanks to all staff at Thornton Heath Leisure centre. I always recommend the centre to others!
Jonathan was a fantastic host and looked after us really well. The experience was very straightforward and required minimal input from us as party parents, which was much appreciated! Communication in advance was clear and helpful as well. And, most importantly, the kids all had a great time!The only suggestion for the company, especially on a Saturday morning, would be to reserve a space in the car park for those who have booked a party. It was a little stressful having to park in a separate car park and walk over with a box of party paraphernalia!
Henley leisure centre has a great gym with very good cardio, weights and resistant kit. The gym could you with a bit more attention to cleaning around and under the kit, but the equipment itself is cleaned regularly. The changing rooms are ok but the showers leave a lot to be desired, maybe diffent shower heads would help as well as dividers between the showers for a modicum of privacy. The staff are always friendly
I swim regularly at Rainbow and as a 80 year old woman really appreciate the kindness of the staff. I have wanted to write a review for ages because I want to praise the staff who work very hard in cleaning the pool and spa areas. It is sad when people write bad reviews as I see first hand how dedicated the staff are in maintaining a high standard of customer service and cleanliness throughout.
