Too much of a hassle on the buyout process! Buyout link not associated with Vivint. Technician did less than efficient job installing front and back door sensors. Cut a big slit in my siding to install line for doorbell camera. Why??? Rear door sensor has issues. Alarm doesn't activate saying door is open. Found negative info about Vivint in regards to shady practices.
I have had more safety than I’ve had in a long time. The installer was great. The gentleman that came and showed me the program was really good. I really appreciate it talking to him and even though all of that on Wednesday morning, my dog passed away, but I feel safe still yet
Initially, VIvint was a great alarm service. We started with them in 2012. However, their customer support and loyalty support has tanked. Representatives with English as a second language and very strong accents are dfficult to understand and that's precisely how they get you to agree to something. They frauduently extended our service agreement to FOUR years. We did not receive a copy of the contract nor are there any early termination clauses in the form we were sent yet when I went to cancel the service due to a fraudulent charge and poor service, I was told I would have to pay an early termination fee of over $2500. I have absolutely nothing in writing to collaborate this clause. I have filed a complaint with BBB to start.
