Started off offering ?220 for phone and then once they had it they offered ?100.Saying the battery was at 82% and there was light scratches on the phone body which is lies as there’s been a case on the phone from the moment I brought it (I even sent it in the case!!)Anyway I asked them to return the phone.
I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Louie from customer service, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Purchased an iphone 13 via Amazon from these folks - shocking!! Received a defective phone, it was not repaired or replaced and they charged me ?25.00 for managing the return (only a partial refund was received) I would not recommend this company.
Amazon order, sold by URcouk.Ordered a iPhone 14, ( ?349.75) which I only turned on to see if it turned on. It was returned 2 days later because we ordered the wrong model ( wanted 14 plus)Spent over ?10 to return, which was fine. But the refund I received was ?30 less ( ?319.75) because the box had been open! The reason, a re-stocking fee, handling fee or whatever they want to call it! On there own website they state the following:Refunds (if applicable, subject to Returns Policy)Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please note that unless faulty, refunds are subjected to a deduction of a re-stocking fee equivalent to 5% of the purchase price (minimum ?15).If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.So in that case they should have only deducted ?17.50, not ?30! They just don’t want to know!, don’t be stung by this horrible company!!Update: rang Amazon today again, (25/04/2025) Amazon kindly refunded me the remaining ?30!
Dropped offer from ?220 to ?50 on the basis that the button wasn’t working. My phone didn’t have a button. Had expected them to drop quote a little but thought unreasonable for a very well looked after device.Received back (although with accessories and box missing) and sold for a decent amount no problem at CEX where it unsurprisingly passed all tests.Updated after UR response- they asked for further details which I have provided. They’re not disputing anything I’ve said.
