EXTORTIONIST. Tenants think twiceFirst time renting with Linley and Simpson Wakefield .Four months down the line still declining to return the rents deposit .I expected better because I saw good reviews.They have made outrageous claims regarding the apartment I moved out from and are now padding the bill to much the deposit amount .Terrible letting agents.
If you want to manage the management company and train their staff on industry basics then youa ? ?ve found your team. Poor quality tenants, badly managed in and out, passing bills directly with no commercial consideration, poor hand over experience with zero checks. No idea of the service history of appliances, boilers etc.
Avoid this firm at all costs!!!! Rude service... has people stood outside properties for half an hour after the appointment time.... when you ring to find out where they are...you get an explanation of a ? ?the property went yesterday...what shall we do about ita ? ? how about you ring me the day before my appointment to let me know so I dona ? ?t turn up and wait for your rubbish firm for half an hour. Never again will I view with Linley and Simpson!
I've been a tenant using Linley & Simpson's services for the past 8 years, and I've consistently found them to be friendly, efficient, and reliable. Most recently, I had an issue with my boiler, and Abbie Holmes handled my query with genuine sympathy and impressive efficiency. She kept me informed at every stage and made sure the boiler was fixed as quickly as possible. It's always reassuring to know you're in good handsa ? ?thank you to Abbie and the whole L&S team for your continued professionalism and care.
Amina Afzal has been really helpful with the issue I had with my mixer tap in the kitchen . She dealt with the matter efficiently and resolved the matter quickly. The new tap was fitted and I was informed step by step from the day I reported the issue to the day the tap is installed .
Don't deal with this company. They don't care about your property if you are a landlord, and if you're a tenant it takes ages to have things fixed. They tried to make me believe that six different appliances, all of them four years old, had suddenly given out, all at the same time. They hadn't bothered to check these when the last tenant moved out, and let the new tenant discover for herself in late October that the wall heaters "didn't work" (i.e. had been thrashed by the last tenant.) They see landlords as a cash cow, not a customer they are responsible to help.
We had Samuel Priestley help us get our first home (renting) and he was absolutely fantastic, great sense of humour, really informative and completely understood all of our needs! Couldna ? ?t ask for a better consultant! Thank you for all your help Sam.
