Great service

I have been with Linley & Simpson for a year and half now. They have been so efficient and reliable. I had a leakage recently and Charlotte Ferguson handle it well, very professional, excellent communicator, kept me informed from start to finish. Ia ? ?m impressed with their service and support so far.

Thank you, your service is consistent and you keep on top of things in all things to do with managing the letting of my apartment. One little irritating thing is the requests or enquiries go into a pool and then it is hard to remember (impossible even) who is dealing with what if you have a question or wish to know how things are progressing with a problem needing to be resolved.

Unacceptable service from Linley & Simpson Pudsey

I have tried to resolve issues about a tenancy with Linley & Simpson for 8 months. I vacated their property on 25th February 2023 after going through Domestic Abuse last year (2022) for 8 months. I did what I needed to do, which is give notice and explained why I had to leave. 8 months on they still have refused to remove my name and that of my son from their records and not given me back my deposit. I have been ignored numerous times and still being ignored. My emails go unanswered. They dona ? ?t seem to care as long as my name and that of my son appears on their system as responsible for a property I am not living in. If our names were not on the system they would move in 4 weeks to get a name on the system of the person living in the property.I have been trying to move on with my life, but Linley & Simpson couldna ? ?t care less. The stress has even landed me in hospital for 10 days

Fantastic experience so far

I had a viewing with Mark and he was extremely forthcoming and helpful and has proceeded to guide me and my flatmate through the whole process. So far has been an amazing experience, nothing bad to say at all.

Not renting via Lindley & simpson but

Not renting via Lindley & simpson but our landlady has instructed them now to maintain the property we are currently renting .Rude staff Never reply to a call or reply to any reported repairsTried to get us to sign a "Maintainance " application on closer inspection it was a new "Tenancy " through them '? ? ? ?'? ? ? ? obviously haven't filled it in ... absolutely useless this company

I am a landlord all I can say is anyone

I am a landlord all I can say is anyone renting there property use a professional letting agents. Not Lindley and Simpson. Messages dona ? ?t get passed on,dona ? ?t email you back,dona ? ?t call you back. Ok for them taking 10%charges for commission and other charges. If they cana ? ?t handle the propertya ? ?s they should not be in business. I was far better when they found me a client and I looked after the property. Their after care is atrocious.

My property has recently required reletting due to a change of tenancy. Georgia Elsworth has kept me informed about every step and is striving to get me a new tenant as quickly as possible. She has been proactive, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Poor rental experience

I've been a rental tenant of a Linley property for several years, and everytime I interact with them it is upsetting and frustrating. The property I rent has had a mould issue for well over a year, and there is no interest from Linley in resolving this. From my experience, they do not keep accurate records on tenants or their properties with ongoing issues. The fixtures and fittings have never been refreshed, and the annual inspection just seems to be a tick-box exercise to preface yet another rent increase. I genuinely don't know what my landlord gets from the service from Linleys, as they are not 'managing' the property I rent. If you call the office, they will answer and they'll advise that they'll ring you back but don't, and then you wait a few days and try again - over and over. They rarely send emails, presumably to avoid an audit trail. The staff are friendly, but there is either a lack of resource or lack of training, as the service is bad. I am still in contract, but I am leaving this review as there seems to have been an influx of 5 star reviews on here in the last thirty days (check the average reviews left the past 12 months for comparison) and I would not want a prospective tenant to believe this is a 5 star service.
