The laser treatment on my right for a cataract. That I received from Optical Express at their base in Edinburgh was successful. I visited their premises in Dundee today for a final check. My vision in that eye is bright and clear. I was informed that there is also a cataract forming in my left eye. I Will have no hesitation in getting Optical Express to do the operation on this eye when the time comes. .NHS waiting time for this operation is over twenty months, Had I waited for them to do this operation I would be completely blind.

I had Lens replacement surgery at Chelmsford branch and I was blown away by the amazing service. From my first consultation with Bethany who explained everything and so thorough, I felt in safe hands. She was amazing, so helpful, not pushy at all and extremely thorough. The surgery day itself was smooth, everyone I saw was so kind and professional, the nurses and surgeon outstanding - explaining the procedure throughout and it was painless and over in 30 mins. a special mention to Deborah on reception who was wonderful, so friendly and welcoming - keeping me updated on timings, and offered refreshments. So polite and helpful and a real asset to your company. Another mention to Joseph (I think that was his name) who was excellent explained the aftercare and medication needed - so clear and concise. Thank you optical express for giving me 20/20 vision back in a friendly safe environment. Highly recommended.

from start to finish my experience with Optical Express was amazing! the staff (at reception, the surgeon and the consultants) were amazingly welcoming, supportive and full of knowledge. i felt at ease throughout the whole procedure and supportive afterwards. the after care was easy to follow and the check up are super helpful! i have two bars above 20 20 vision and it has improved my way of life! highly recommend

I decided to use optical express to take care of my cataract in my left eye !So I made the appointment at Darlington shop where they gave me a full examination in preparation for the operation excellent service by the Darlington team !! I was appointed to the Newcastle operation for the procedure a few weeks later again what an amazing team they have very professional and caring for my individual needs. Due to an unexpected issue they were unable to proceed on the day! But the care and attention did not stop and even after a couple of weeks they are contacting me to make sure I am fine and offering any assistance I may require so 10/10 and thank you all very much

My mum found out she had cataracts and after a little google we called optical express who booked us for a consultation and wow they were fabulous. So reassuring and so we booked, less than 2 weeks later she had the surgery. Very satisfied and reassured by the whole process. Amazing service and explanation x
