Had my multifocal lens replacement yesterday and already really impressed with the results, the procedure was super quick and honestly cana€™t believe that it was pretty much pain free, no pain today at all and barely any irritation.

The whole team from Susan who did my initial assessment to the optometrist to the surgeon were amazing. The results have been incredible. Being able to see my wife and childrena€™s faces clearly without glasses immediately after the operation was incredible. Would definitely recommend optical express.

Having worn glasses and contact lenses since the age of 5, laser eye surgery was a must for me and Ia€™m so glad I chose Optical Express Nottingham. From the moment I walked in, Sharon and the front desk team made me feel completely at ease. Had an appointment with regards to eye surgery to correct long distance vision. I had researched many other companies offering the same service. Optical Express stood out. My experience out matched my expectations. Professional and human in all the right places. Honestly I felt that I was being test to make sure I fit the services they offer. Never once did I think that they would try to make me choose something that would not be beneficial for me. They even brought my surgeon in to check my eyes half way through the exam just because they wanted to be 100% certain rather then just 99%. I signed up and paid the deposit the same day. Had cataract removed on 26th July in Belfast. The team from start to finish have been fantastic. Was worried about going private due to the cost but I have been treated like royalty and can't thank the Belfast team enough. A special shout out to Stacey and Jenny who have been so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff who were kind and clear with explaining everything. Procedure was quick and effective and the surgeon and all the time were kind and patient. I had 20/20 vision and the pain that was there only lasted for an hour and then it was clear. Would completely recommend Leicester and Milton Keynes

I attended the Preston Practice on Monday 2nd June for an eye test following some concerns I had and was seen by Juneid. I found him to be extremely professional and friendly. Ia€™m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at your Wolverhampton clinic. I took time off work specifically to attend a vision correction consultation, only to arrive and be tolda€”without any prior noticea€”that there was a two-hour delay. I received no communication beforehand regarding this delay, which is both unprofessional and inconsiderate of patients' time.Despite this, I remained patient. The receptionist assured me I would not be charged the a ?50 non-attendance fee, as I had shown up for my appointment. However, I was still charged the a ?50, which is completely unacceptable given that I attended and was only unable to wait due to the clinica€™s own scheduling issues.This experience reflects a lack of respect for patientsa€™ time and trust and not what I expected from a reputable company like Optical Express!!
I went for an eye surgery Consultation today and whilst the staff were very friendly and helpful I feel I went to my appointment under false pretences. My prescription is not a strong one with d+1.50 cyl-1.75 in my right eye and +1.25 cuc - 1.75. I was drawn in by the online price of a ?595 per eye depending on prescription and the type of surgery. However after the consultation I was told that I am suitable for either lasik, lasek or lens replacements I was quoted from a ?4,590 for either lasek or lasik which is odd as lasek is deemed a cheaper option so a ? 2,295 per eye over a ?1,700 per eye dearer. The lens replacement was a ?7,990 for both eyes. I feel they could take your prescription details before you go and give you the pricing before you attend. I went in excited that I may be suitable and get eye surgery and came out feeling like they were trying to completely rip me off. I wonder how many people are actual suitable for the advertised a ?595 per eye surgery or if it just a marketing ploy to get people in. Very disappointing indeed. So I would say dona€™t waste you time with the 3 hour appointment where over 2 hours was just waiting only to then be told they dona€™t have an optician there to speak to unless I want to wait an extra 1.5 hours. I ended up having to have an over the phone call with an optician.
