Linley & Simpson - Bingley have been professional and efficient throughout the process of locating a property so far. Manuel was informative, helpful, punctual and professional in his management of our viewings and discussion of the properties. The properties themselves were priced appropriately and all contact with the office has been efficient, friendly and helpful.

Total lack of communication

We had a meeting with Ilkley office to report numerous issues with the rental property. Despite phone calls and many emails to L&S we have had NO response. That meeting was a month ago. Where is the award winning service L&S are supposed to have?

Would give 0 stars if I could.Throughout my time with Linley and Simpson, I had numerous complaints about the flat above and next to me, at which point there representative told me a ? ?maybe you are too sensitive to noisea ? ?. I was told that the flat next door was not rented through Linley and Simpson, which was a complete lie. Throughout my stay their members of staff showed a lack of professionalism towards me - I had signed my tenancy and couldna ? ?t get out without a huge upfront fee for remarketing. They didna ? ?t care once I signed the dotted lines on the tenancy agreement. To anyone looking to rent a property through Linley and Simpson - take my advice and DONT!! A shoddy company who try and scam their tenants by charging over the odds cleaning costs for a build up of dust when I vacated the hellhole of a property 2 weeks before my tenancy ended. Should they have inspected the property straight away, they would have seen that it was clean however they have left it weeks, and a build up of dust formed and now they are trying to charge me a ?130. I had a worse experience with the Leeds City Branch than I ever have with any landlord in the past. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Unpleasant Experience: Delay process, missing keys.

They changed my move in day very last minute, I then had to change all my bills and council tax, which was an absolute pain. They said they needed to do more work than they expected. I think this is something they can plan better. I signed the draft tenancy agreement 1.5month before the original move in date. After I got the keys to my new rental flat, I realised therea ? ?s no key for the mail box. I sent 2 emails to ask, and no reply at all. If the council tax bill comes to my mail box I wouldna ? ?t know.This is not a pleasant experience using their service.

Perfect service and great team

David initially came to value my property, he was very knowledgeable and thorough. Kieran was my sales negotiator and did an amazing job. He managed the whole sales process seamlessly from start to finish. Always professional and quick to react. I would have no reservations in recommending Linley's for your sale. Thanks to Kieran, David and the team for their work and support.

Awful estate agent

*Upon initial viewing of property we asked for some minor fixes which were agreed and not delivered.*Upon exiting tenancy tried to charge us for the above fixes, taking the proverbial.*Staff unhelpful, unfriendly, rude, particularly in Chapel Allerton. Headingly a bit better to be fair to them.*Threw away some clothing items accidently left at the property upon departure without even asking if I could collect. Some of them were expensive.*Completely over zealous and unfair cleaning charges upon exit of property. We left it in the same condition. They take dozens of photos so make sure you do the same if you're ever unfortunate enough to let a property from this lot.*Do not deal with Linley and Simpson Leeds. They are awful, even for estate agents.*Linley and Simpson Leeds Reviews, Linley and Simpson Chapel Allerton Review, Linley and Simson Headingly Review.

Tenant Finding Service

We were appointed by a client to let several of their apartments in a block. We needed assistance with our tenant finding and approached Linley & Simpson.They provide a professional service with a positive approach. We have now completed the task and all the apartments are now let to reliable and trustworthy tenants. Megan has been extremely helpful keeping us informed. Matthew and Kate have also provided us with a great experience in this process. Thanks again everyone - a 5 star review well deserved!
