I purchased a course for \$0.99, but I **never activated any free trial** or subscribed to Domestika Plus. Despite that, I was charged **€199** for a yearly membership I **did not request or use**.As soon as I noticed the charge, I cancelled the subscription and contacted customer support. Unfortunately, I have only received **automated replies**, with no real resolution or refund offered.I have already contacted my bank, and if this situation isn’t resolved soon, I will have to **seek legal assistance**.I'm very disappointed, especially after seeing **many similar complaints from other users**. This kind of unauthorized and non-transparent billing damages trust and reflects very poorly on the platform.
I subscribed to Domestika Plus and was charged $219 after a trial with no warning. I didn’t use any credits or enroll in any courses. I contacted support right away but received no response. PayPal refused the refund and Domestika ignored me completely.I strongly advise others to avoid this platform — misleading system and no customer care.
Dont fall for the trap of cheap courses Domestika offers because there is a big catch to it. The cheap course is meant only to capture your payment information, such as your credit card or debit card. Then they will forcibly enroll your account into their Domestika Plus without you knowing it. After some time, which in my case, after two years of not logging in, they will charge you almost $200. You cannot escape this charge unless you deactivate your card because they have captured your payment information already. You cannot deactivate your membership to them and you cannot also remove your payment information from their website so they can charge your card anything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THIS WILL COST YOU MORE LATER WITH THEIR SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE.
Impossible to get in touch with Domestika! I canceled the trial subscription via the contact form and requested confirmation. Never received it. Furthermore, there has been a problem with account merging for over 6 months now, and for 6 months (!!!) I have only ever received the same two template emails. Now I have been charged €222 for the CANCELED Plus subscription! And again, the same (scam) tactics: unnecessary, absolutely unhelpful template responses. I should have listened to the negative reviews! It is impossible to contact them. Not in German or English. Whether this is fraud will now be determined by legal protection insurance and consumer protection authorities.?People, STAY AWAY!
I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with Domestika, I have up until now used their courses with no problem, but a recent purchase has meant that they have SCAMMED me out of a large amount of my money $365.15 I bought a single course from them through my instagram and as a result this opened up a new Domestika account for me that I was unaware of and the purchase if this single course added the 'Premium Plus' product that I do not need of even wish to have!!!! A month later $365.15 was still taken out of my account for 1 year subscription!!!! Apparently by buying any course now they sign you up automatically for a 30 trial of their plus service. Then after 30 days they bill for a full year. I have disputed this case tirelessly since this charge, but Domestika is basically unresponsive and very unhelpful, using generic automated replies & PayPal will not help either. I am in very big problems now because I have bills and I have three dependants! I can see that I am not the only one going through this, Domestika you need to fix this issue and give us our money back!!!!! Sadly this has now left a very bad taste and I no longer respect or trust this platform, this tactic of charging this outrageous amount for 'Premium Plus' is VERY SNEEKY!!!!! It's also a big problem for all the creatives who you represent on your platform!!!!!This is totally unfair and a terrible way to treat your customers, taking our money in this underhand way and not refunding when requested! This is not a small amount of money, it is significant and when people buy a product they need to fairly choose it!I want my money back, so does everyone else! Consider what you are doing and what damage it is doing to the reputation of your company and the creatives you represent!!!This issue needs to be resolved or legally taken further, it is clear that hundreds of people here and probably others you have scammed are very dissatisfied!!!! DOMESTIKA GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK IMMEDIATELY!!!!
If I could give it no stars, I would. Not only did I pay for courses, I was then charged $85 AUD for membership 3 months later, with them stating that they had tried to charge me a full amount of $350USD. I did not know at the time that I was signing up for a trial; and I did not receive an email confirming same. I have written to them but have had no luck in getting my money refunded at this time. Such a scam.
