Review Time
The engineer called to do the annual service yesterday 26/06/25. Explained the boiler needed a new part as it was not working. He ordered that and returned today 27/06/25 to fit the part required. The job has been finished expertly. The engineer Thomas, was polite, friendly and helpful.
Absolutely horrendous customer service. Phone lines are FULL of staff who repeatedly lie. I’ve had to take a complaint to the Ombudsman and it has been upheld. Even the staff at the executive office!!!! have been absolutely useless and have failed to rectify a simple problem. Appalling! Go elsewhere for energy! Update after British Gas reply - you are telling me to message on X, which I had been for 8 weeks!!! This is why the Ombudsman has ruled in my favour. What a disgrace
Arrived within the set time, being called to advise was five minutes away. Was professional and friendly from the outset. Gave a running commentary on what he was doing and why also making sure I could see what was being done. The overall approach filled me with the utmost confidence that the engineer (Paul) knew his job and how to fix the problem. Been with British Gas for several years now and I can’t fault them
The fitter arrived on time, was polite and really friendly. Did the two repairs that were required and cleared up after he finished. We have had this fitter, Errol, before to service our boiler and he is really lovely and knows what he is doing. A credit to British Gas. We are so glad we have our service contract with them.
