Always there for us

Always there for us. We are Priority listed and never been let down in 20 years by British Gas. Feel safe with them taking care of our appliances and heating. Highly recommend.

Be aware of apparently enforceable years old bills they havent told you about! historical bills year

British Gas supplied gas and electricity to a flat I rented. At the end of the tenancy I gave the meter readings and settled the account. Over 2 years later I started to receive demand emails and text messages stating I owed ?96. When I finally got through i was told that British Gas swapped their billing methods during my time in the flat and there was money owing. They were unable to explain why it had taken 2 years and confirmed that my credit rating would be affected if I didn't pay. I stated I wanted to make a complaint and was told that they would take details and take ?40 off if I considered the matter dealt with. I was then put through to the complaints department in the UK, who again offered ?40 off if I considered it closed. When I said I would make a further complaint I was told there wouldn't be any point as it wouldn't be looked at.Criminal behaviour in my opinion and I wouldn't touch British Gas again with a barge pole. Very very disappointed... and still angry!

All went to plan

Kept up to date re the visit before the engineer arrived and the engineer was very good and explained what he was doing while on the premises

Mike the British Gas gas engineer.

The engineer Mike telephoned to advise he would be arriving shortly . He was courteous ( put on shoe covers) and very knowledgeable . He fixed the problem extremely quickly and explained the reason why the fault had occurred. Excellent experience.
