The tier 1 support team and BJ were extraordinarily patient with my bumbling through trying to fix my FTP and scanner issues. I was off chat while doing all this and didn't know if support would still be there when I came back. They were! Thanks for the great service.
We run a small video production company and have had websites for over 10 years and we've never been hacked, (that I know of) The last couple months that changed. I tried to clean up the site myself with blue host my hosting company, but the hack came back. Our site full of beautiful images and videos was now a white page with Chinese characters and Chinese advertising all over it. It was no longer my site. I researched and found negative reviews and comments about Site Lock but Bluehost recommended them and I had no choice because we were in the middle of the biggest ad job we have had. The first guy I talked to was No BS. Didn't upsell, told him what I needed and he provided it. Within hours my site was mine again. My recent walk through with Allie Voors was the same. Polite, courteous, informative (I"m not a web developer just a filmmaker) and she walked me through everything. If you are a small business like us, you don't have money for web developers, etc... you just want your site to work. My site is continuously trying to be hacked by bots, I can see how many on my dashboard, and so far I don't worry about it with site lock.
Retracting original positive feedback as no customer service team member has helped or answered my emails or live chats regarding my sites status.I was amazingly told I may need to UPGRADE my plan, keep in mind for a website with zero content. All the great work done by the original sales a tech team completely tossed down the drain.
