Made an order for same day collection which they claim could be done as little as an hour but wait for an email before coming to store. I didn’t receive the email but on the website it said the item was ready to collect so was able to collect 5 hours later. The staff in store was friendly and helpful however the score is reflected in the lack of information during the click & collect process. I have now received the email claiming collection is ready 3 days later and now a copy of my receipt. I was lucky that I was able to get my items eventually the same day but see from other reviews that wasn’t the case for other people. I would shop at Currys again but may avoid their click & collect option.
The service l received from the young lady, who not only explained ,but also showed and installed the device l purchased! Shes an asset to Currys! She was polite and knowlegable! Unlike another member of the staff,who looked at me when l asked for help ,as though ld asked him for the earth!! Hang onto this young lady..Shes what a customer expects when purchasing from ltems Currys!!
Went into Currys Torquay to take a look at airfryers, never used one and wasn't really convinced.Spoke to 5 x members of staff casually just to get an idea, was amazed they all had one and used them daily.Eventually decided to talk to someone in depth about a couple of different makes and that person was Jeanette.Jeanette spent a good 30/40mins going through the ins and outs of each make and different types and what you could and couldn't do.Every question we threw at her, she was able to answer,We decided on a Philips 5000 dual basket steam airfryer.We do like this store as all staff we've dealt with over the years have always been helpful.My last purchase was my laptop.Elaine and Philip
