Review Time
Under 5 session We were very disappointed with our visit.The general cleanliness was extremely poor, rubbish such as crisp packets and plastic bottles were left by the pool side and floors were dirty.Hair and grime were present on the top of the drains in the changing areas.Sand was in the pool making it not a pleasant environment to be in. We attended the under 5 session, we were not informed that half of the facilities would be closed and we would only have access to limited areas. Additionally there was a draft that made the poolside feel very cold.
Introduction to the programme and gym by Phil was informative and reassuring. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. As this was my first time in a gym I was a little self concious when surrounded by many seasoned gym members. Within minutes I had lost that feeling and just got stuck in. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions, and I am building my routines gradually. I can really feel the difference after just a short time. I wish I had joined a long time ago. I really look forward to going each time.
The gym is improving- the updated spin room is very nice, as is the newer equipment in the gym. The staff and instructors are terrific as always, they know all the regulars by name, and encourage us to push ourselves and improve our skills. They are the best part of KLC. The same problem however continues in the studio- the Reebok steps are not safe- about 1/3 steps dona??t clip in anymore. There are not enough weights in the studio. Wea??ve been told new equipment has been ordered, but it just does not arrive. In this heat, letting the air conditioning drop a couple more degrees would be very appreciated. One positive- the new blue mats are very comfy, thanks for this.
Was on flexi. 10 a month. Then I have to pay additional 10pounds for each activity!! Day pass is almost 15 quids, 6/7 at other gyms. I just need to relax after work I can't even do that! because dare I forget to book!!Very confusing membership options, not worth the hassle. Subscribed because the gym is near me but it was badly explained on the website and asked the staff no one had the time to explained. They all said. '' Please check our website.'' I just want my subscription money back. Peace of mind is precious.
