I signed up for a class with a newborn baby. I got my cousin to meet me at the gym to look after him. It took an incredible amount of effort. I was 2 minutes late to the Pilates class at better Notting Hill and they wouldna??t let me in. They are the worst and they arena??t getting a penny more of my money. How they can treat women, parents or anyone like this at a community gym it totally beyond the pale. I wrote to them directly, obviously they didna??t particularly care. Do not recommend.
We had booked the event well in advancea??in Aprila??for a June date, and completed all documentation beforehand. Unfortunately, the event fell far short of expectations and left us with a very disappointing memory.Firstly, the assigned host, Mia, demonstrated a lack of basic customer service skills and preparedness. Despite prior arrangements, she appeared completely disorganised. For instance, we handed over the birthday cake for refrigerationa??only to find it later placed carelessly on a public bench where guests were seated to change into socks. This showed a complete disregard for care or hygiene, and I had to escalate the matter to her manager myself.Instead of handling the feedback discreetly, Mia approached me multiple times during the party, in front of guests, to question whether there was a problem and whether it would a??reflect on hera?a??a highly unprofessional and uncomfortable approach that added stress to an already frustrating situation. The party itself lacked the involvement and engagement promised. I was asked to cut the cake before food was served, so it could be portioned outa??completely killing the celebratory moment. Mia offered no help in gathering the children, leading a birthday song, or creating a festive atmosphere. I found myself managing the event solo, despite having booked a supposedly a??hands-offa? hosted experience.Furthermore, I was asked to confirm final numbers by Tuesday for a Sunday partya??understandably, we had two no-shows on the day. The inflexible approach to this was frustrating, as attendance can fluctuate with childrena??s events. There is no refund as such. Complete money-making sham.To add to it all, the party room and wider play area had no air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the year. Had I known this in advance, I would have never chosen this venue.Regrettably, the entire experience left a bitter aftertaste. This was meant to be a joyful occasion for our daughter, and instead, we were left feeling disappointed and stressed. I wona??t be returning to this venue, and I would caution others from booking.
I've been a loyal member of Better Gym at Reading Palmer Park since it was revamped, but this recent experience has been incredibly frustrating. Out of nowhere, my membership was cancelled a?? with no explanation whatsoever. When I contacted customer service, they couldn't tell me why it happened or offer any real help. Now, I'm being told I have to rejoin, but the new membership cost is significantly higher than what I was paying before. It feels like long-time members are being penalized for no reason. Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and poor communication. Not the kind of treatment you'd expect from a company that claims to care about its members.
People from the street walked in without a pass behind another person and used the swimming pool to wash their one month dirt-disgusting. Also too many medical members are coming to the centre. It should be a set time for them to come
