Friendly staff that gave clear information about the products we were interested in. Staff explored our options for the sofa that we chose to buy. They were responsive and respectful of our budget when we queried costs of added extras that we decided against after exploration. Product care, maintenance and insurance cover were fully explained, which we did decide to include in our purchase.The Staines showroom is well set out and well staffed.

We are 2 younger people that were looking for a sofa, armchair, and dining table for our new build house. We looked at some of these across the day and eventually purchased them.The member of staff we were being looked after, Steve, was really great throughout the day and made us feel we were being properly looked after without it feeling ??pushy? The opposite of a stereotypical salesperson.Additionally, Steve gave great information on all products we were interested in as well as understanding our vision for the house.Overall, very happy with the friendly attitude and professionalism we experienced. Would definitely return off the back of this experience alone.

There was a sales person who said if we needed any help just give him a shout and we were left alone to look round so you didn??t feel pressured to purchase anything. When we decided there was a salesman nearby who was very knowledgeable helpful and friendly to help us make our choice

Had a bed delivery. The blokes that delivered Matt and Shaun were friendly, courteous and experienced. The service we received was excellent. I also appreciated that they wore inside boots in my property to prevent dirt. The delivery and assembly took about just under 2 hours. The delivery was earlier than expected. We had an email from furniture village saying that delivery would be between 745am 11am on the agreed Saturday. That morning we got a call at approx. 615am saying the delivery van was 20 mins away. They had a cancellation so arrived earlier.

Rajesh was great help and very attentive to our needs. He was even able to get us a bit more money off by looking at the website price and matching it instore. Hes very friendly and wasnt forceful at all with the sale.

I will never buy from Furniture Village again, especially the Reading store.My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After returning a mattress, I was told in writing and on calls I would receive a refund of 1,998.70. After multiple delays and confusion, the refund amount was suddenly changedtwiceending at 1,959.10, only after I chased them repeatedly for two weeks.I was then told to return to the store to sign a new finance agreement. But when I went in, they tried to charge me again for the Care Plan, which I already paid 109 for and which was on my original invoice. I was told by customer care that I wouldn??t need to pay for it again, but suddenly they changed their story, saying the store cancelled the plan and I??d have to pay extra if I still wanted it. Nobody consulted me before cancelling it, and now they??re refusing to refund or reinstate the plan without charging more.This company is disorganised, misleading, and untrustworthy. They wasted weeks of my time, kept changing their story, and have caused a huge amount of stress just to return one item. I??ve kept the bed and expected to keep the Care Plan I paid forbut they??ve made even that impossible without trying to squeeze more money from me.Avoid at all costs. I will never recommend or shop with Furniture Village again.
