SHOCKING SERVICE.Booked through Wowcher, dealt with Terry at travelodeal.Portugal trip has been a nightmare since booking.Outbound flight changed for much later flightInbound flight has been cancelled and not given a different option.Took me 3 phones calls and 3 emails to get a response.Was told I can change airport to Manchester instead of Birmingham for the inbound flight.Not sure if travelodeal are aware but massive distance between the two airports totally unacceptable.Then email from JAZZ claiming “After reviewing your booking details, we would like to inform you that this reservation was made under a voucher deal, which is non-refundable once booked. Unfortunately, this means that canceling the holiday at this stage will not result in any refund.”They’re very happy to take money from my account so not completely a voucher deal. Plus they cannot fulfill the travel commitments so very baffling how a registered company can get away with such bad business techniques to SCAM you out of money. If I could score 0 I would.
I don't understand how this company has such good reviewsWe got the ?99 mystery holiday with wowcher. I picked up their call next day and was informed that the call will last 40-50minutes to finalise my booking. I am a busy person, most people are. I don't understand what would take so long if not some crazy upselling and hidden charges. Apart from the destination nothing else has been revealed. No hotels, no flight times. No alternatives either.vlooking at their website the options are so terrible and hotels are eun down. The agents are nice enough but that's the only positive
THE WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE — A COMPLETE SCAM!I want to warn everyone about my terrible experience with Travelodeal and why I will NEVER book with them again.I booked a 5-night all-inclusive holiday to Malta for 6 adults through their website. Everything went smoothly at first — the payment went through, I got a confirmation, and it all seemed legit.But the next day, I got a call from one of their staff. After confirming all the details (flights, hotel name, number of nights, etc.), he asked for 20 minutes to “double-check” things. When he called back, he dropped a bomb: the price had increased by ?200 PER PERSON — a total of ?1,200 more!When I asked why, he claimed that because I booked at night, the prices “weren’t updated.” What kind of professional travel company doesn’t have live pricing? It felt like a trap.He then tried to "help" by offering poor alternatives:Cut the trip from 5 nights to 4.Downgrade to bed & breakfast instead of all-inclusive.Change to a cheaper hotel.Or — if we paid the extra ?1,200 — they’d “throw in” private transport instead of a shuttle. Seriously?While he was on the phone, I went back to their website — the exact same holiday was STILL listed at the original price we booked for! When I mentioned this, he said “the real price is higher” and that “prices might change,” pointing to some vague disclaimer on their site.This is not a travel service — it’s a bait-and-switch operation. They hook you with a good price, take your money, and then pressure you into paying more, changing your plans, or settling for less. We ended up cancelling the whole trip — they completely wasted our time.Avoid this site at all costs. It’s unreliable, dishonest, and incredibly frustrating to deal with. I wouldn’t trust them with a weekend getaway, let alone a proper holiday. Don’t fall into the same trap we did — book with someone reputable and save yourself the stress.
