I've bought plenty of stuff from Thomann over the last 2 years. Recently, I had an issue with a Harley Benton QBB-8 8-string guitar 3 months after purchase.At first, I sent them an email reporting the issue. Their first response was to ask me to ship the guitar to them so they could evaluate the problem and eventually send the instrument back to me, but that would require buying a box and bubble wrap and not have the guitar for maybe a month.I told them that was not an ideal solution, and their immediate response was to offer to ship me a new guitar, and I could send the faulty one back in the new guitar's box. That sounded like a great solution from them already, but it felt wasteful, and I had already spent quite a bit of time setting it up and getting it to play exactly the way I liked it.So I told them I had found a technician who gave me a quote for the repair, and if they would be willing to just give me store credit for the small value for the fix.They ended up agreeing with a refund for that value, and I got the guitar quickly fixed. At no point during our talk did it ever feel like just some corporate automated response to any of my enquiries.The customer support experience I got was top notch, and knowing that they will be willing to offer a good solution (and not just a pre-baked solution) if I have any issues with my purchases just encouraged me to keep buying from them.Recommended.
