Fiverr is nothing but an overhyped illusion. Its flooded with scammers, managed by amateurs, and backed by a useless support team. They are nothing just noise amplified by marketing. Save your time and sanity. Stay away.

I enjoy the platform greatly, but...As a new seller the parameters to move up and get more gigs are very limited. The success score metric should be removed entirely as no one seems to know how to increase it or why it randomly gets lower after only having 5star reviews on gigs.

Overall Im happy using Fiverr. First weeks I got tons of spam messages, but it goes away after a while.It took about 2 months before I got my first order, but after that things got started and now I have work on a regular basis.

In general not bad, but the number of scammers who write to you when you are new is huge. I understand when there are one or two cases of such messages, but I have dozens of messages from people who want to get money illegally. Indicating that they need my mail for payment, etc....

It has been awesome on fiverr, but some policy are not helping freelancers. Ive been on Fiverr for over 10 years, but apparently that means nothing.I have been scammed for over 2000 by one of their sellers, which was proven to Fiverr support.The seller admitted to his actions and blocked me.They declined to take any action at all on the seller or give me my money back.Horrible horrible experience.Edited in response I have not been able to add further details to that support ticket because it has been closed and I have not had a response from you for my further emails. Since that ticket the freelancer has removed even more work that was paid for and has blocked me.

I would not recommend these idiots to anyone. I opened an account to sell a service, and they removed it from their website, supposedly, not of high quality to fit with their stupidities that they see as excellent. They think that a service can be judged by a beautiful fake picture. I have a PhD and authored hundreds of papers, books, news articles, etc., and have been an editor for the last decade, but it still does not fit with their mediocre level.
