We are in our mid seventies and moved into Linden Lodge in Bicester Oxfordshire 22 months ago Carla the Lodge Manager started a few months later. We are so pleased we moved here even though we were a little apprehensive to begin with but its been the best thing we could have done. Carla has been very supportive and works hard to respond to any problems or ideas the owners may have. Thank you
My name is Tracy , I’m the resident hairdresser at Beechcroft and have been for 4 years. I have to say the first thing that struck me upon entering the building was the wonderful warm and welcoming atmosphere. The care and attention to detail provided by Kerrie ,both to the residents and the lodge itself is second to none. Beechcroft is immaculately clean and tied in with the super friendly,caring and approachable manner that the Manager Kerrie simply oozes makes it a truly wonderful place, not only to live but also to work. A real home from home feeling is what Kerrie ensures all are surrounded by. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for her and she makes time for each and everyone of her residents and colleagues alike. I’d recommend Beechcroft in a heartbeat to anyone considering moving here.
I went to visit my aunt at Hawthornes. While there I meet the manager Ginny. She was very welcoming and enquired if we needed anything. My aunt is always saying how much they enjoy Ginny being the manager there. She said that nothing is to much trouble for Ginny when they need support.
My mum and step dad relatively recently moved into Eddington Lodge.The apartment is comfortable, spacious and designed to a high specification. There have been no issues at all.The communal area is welcoming and proving very useful.There are a variety of activities that residents can drop into which are great for socialising and undoubtedly help with the lovely atmosphere within Eddington Lodge. The Lodge Manager, Pamela, has been extremely supportive, she is knowledgable, always smiling and enthusiastic in helping with anything she can. I’m so glad that my mum and step dad chose Eddington Lodge and couldn’t have hoped for anything better.
I moved into Elmhirst Lodge at Totnes about a year ago and it has been an amazing lifestyle change. The lodge is located in the heart of the town which gives me the freedom to explore but still be close to home. The building is good, functional and very homely. Joe our Manager is marvellous, he is very friendly, helpful, accommodating and I feel safe in his hands. I had a warm welcome on arrival and immediately felt at home. I couldn't be happier than I am right now.
I am a resident of Rose Court in Romford. We have had Churchill as our managing agent since 2014. I am writing to share the disgust I feel in the way we have been treated. We had a digital installation installed in all flats, that cost 50K. The legal requirement of any installation of this magnitude requires a section 20 & specification outlining the works to take place before it can go ahead. We agreed with the specification only to later discover it was made up of lies. When I challenged them on this situation I was ignored, they prayed on our ignorance on this matter, treating us like silly old people. We bought these flats as independent living, which has now been taken away from us and impacted our everyday quality of life. Its caused discrimination with residents with mobility problems. They should be ashamed of themselves how they are treating us. If anyone is thinking of hiring Churchill- think twice they have no respect for us what so ever. They only one saving grace we have about Churchill is our kind & caring Lodge Manger.
We purchased an apartment 2 and half years ago at Cooper Lodge ( Frinton on Sea) after moving from North London and it is the best thing we have done .Cooper Lodge is a wonderful community with lovely people very well supported by a great Lodge Manager.Living here and in Frinton we are 5 minutes from the beach shops and Bowls club and everybody is so friendly ( unlike London) and we are fitter, happier and stress free andam sure it’s put several years on our lives
