I visit Worthington lodge in Hythe Kent on a daily basis in my capacity as a carer. The lodge manager Liz is both highly professional with a friendly and caring nature. The building is kept absolutely immaculate and to a very high standard. The residents enjoy a variety of activities including tea and coffee mornings/afternoons and get togethers for special events, movie nights and fund raisers. All facilitated by Liz. My clients all speak very highly of Liz and we all know she is just a call away. It really is one big happy family. The place simply would not be the same without her! ????????????
I've had an amazing experience with Avonbank, largely thanks to the lodge manager's exceptional support. Their friendliness and helpfulness stood out, especially during the challenging time when my Dad fell ill. They went above and beyond to assist in every possible way, ensuring a smooth transition for Dad returning home. Their commitment and care have made a significant difference, and I can’t thank them enough.
I have worked as a Contractor in some of the Owners Apartments at Tyrell Lodge. I have always found the Lodge a lovely clean cheerful place and the Lodge Manager is always welcoming and helpful too. I would highly recommend this Lodge to anyone thinking of living in a retirement complex.
After 5 wonderful years at Park View Lodge sadly mother has had to move on to a nursing home . Reluctant to move in in 2019 she quickly settled and loved the social aspect of her new home , so much so that she keeps in contact with several of the other residents she has become friends with and asks to go back for other residents parties in the communal room.However it is now necessary to acknowledge she cannot go back to her wonderful flat and we have had to put her flat on the market. Despite the fact we decided to go with a local agent the manager at Park View Lodge went above and beyond in helping us sell the property assisting our agent with information and showing prospective buyers things like the guest room and explaining all the social events happening at the Lodge. Thank you Cormac for all you have done for mum during her time at Park View .
I’ve been working with Churchill Estates at Brook Lodge in Benfleet for the past 8 years and I couldn’t be more impressed.A special mention goes to Caroline Coulson who has been exceptional in managing Brook Lodge. She is incredibly responsive and proactive which has enabled the lodge to run smoothly.
I recently moved into my new flat that is managed by Churchill and after bad experiences with other management companies prior to moving here . I can honestly say that I am so pleased to have such a lovely caring estate Manager ‘Maureen Collins’, she is a very hands on person . although very professional nothing is too much for her, it just gives a ‘warm piece of mind feeling’ knowing she is here which is so precious to us oldies, old age isn’t a choice so it smooths the path for us knowing we have someone that not only cares but makes us feel we’re in safe hands and never be afraid to ask, she’s an absolute angel.I have also had the pleasure of meeting our super Area Manager Sarah Lane, once again a breath of fresh air, so welcoming and friendly although very professional yet very hands on and approachable, it’s a great feeling of contentment knowing that we can relax and enjoy our retirement and put our trust in Churchill and their wonderful staff.
St. Nicolas Lodge, Kings Norton Birmingham.I moved here 18 months ago and am very well settled. The place feels like home. The flat is very nice and easy to manage. The manager is very helpful. The location is excellent being very close to bus stops in four different directions and with easy access to the cross city train line which provides quick access to Birmingham city centre as well as numerous other places en-route. There is a wide range of local shops including a large convenience store, a Post Office, an optician, a dentist, several GP surgeries to choose from nearby, local restaurant and cafes, church, two pubs, one only about 20 yards away, with a good range of food. Many local societies meet nearby in the church social centre and/or the pub. There is parking on-site and a small well maintained garden area with space and furniture to sit outside. The lounge is convenient for social events arranged either by Churchill or the residents themselves.
Thank you East Grinstead and big thanks to Julie the lodge manager... Where to begin my dad and partner are fairly new to this marvelous location. I currently reside in Canada and like us all, our parents are so cherished and loved...I was, am so impressed by the level of care and community at this location my heart feels settled and my soul full of gratitude for this retirement home. This is a beautiful group of humans that join and come together as one, from yoga to coffee mornings card games use it or loose keep fit mornings, VE day Remembrance Day and much much more wow great job Julie at organising these events. There is a planned monthly calendar so you can join in or not there's no pressure or judgement the residence here are a hoot fun loving and very happy you can see and feel it ??????. The personable professional Julie I would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart I can now go back to Canada feeling happy and content that my dad and partner are in very good hands. Please pass on this review and recognition for Julie lodge managerI am staying in the guest suite for a while and I truly feel welcomed and apart of this experience and am grateful very grateful. If you are a child that has parents elderly relatives or anyone that needs extra care this is there forever home. Thanks again. Also on a side note Gary who takes care of the sales side he is very personable and professional with a warmness and great sense of humour just what is needed for our loved ones.
