It is a good 2 floor gym with swimming pool , kids area and smal spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Unfortunately the spa, which is the main reason why I chose this local gym, does not always work and the jacuzzi is frequently broken. It is VERY DIRTY everywhere and the spa is not clean. There is high risk of infection and LEGIONELLA disease in the SPA. You can see the mould and colonies of bacteria growing in the steam room and a milky substance growing on the walls and the sits of the steam room. All the water fountain of the gym have been broken for the last 6 months and there is no water. Staff are not around in the spa area.
Dona??t bother signing up!Theya??ll hike up the price on your debit card without telling you, and when you try to cancel, they make you rejoin at a different rate with tons of confusing membership options. The staff arena??t much help either.Even with the NHS discount, ita??s a ?47 a montha??which is ridiculous considering the machines are old, they close at 4 PM on weekends, and sometimes shut down during the week for random a??fixes.a? You can find way better gyms for half the price.
Swimming lessons at Waterfront Woolwich keep on getting cancelled, with less than an hour's notice. Process for getting a refund painful - they should just automatically refund as the lesson is not taking place. This is a common occurrence over years, as they always seem to have trouble keeping their swimming teachers; the only thing they have changed is the refund process! Crowded lessons too once the summer starts. I don't recommend it.
