I have noticed that Fiverr is getting better at instantly blocking possible scammers once they msg which is amazing. Once payment is ready for release funds are available very quickly. Also getting invites for gigs has helped immensely with growing my ratings and career.

Ive had two very disappointing experiences on Fiverr, and I feel compelled to warn others.First, I hired an English teacher for a twohour class. The session was completely disorganized, and she clearly wasnt qualified. I canceled after the first hour and asked for a refund for the remaining time. She agreedbut never sent the refund. I tried contacting Fiverr support, but there was no real way to get help.Then I hired someone to create a GoFundMe campaign. She didnt do anything. I had already set up the account myself, wrote the script on my own, and even had to pay someone else to create the video. She contributed absolutely nothing yet still kept my money. When I asked for a refund, she just told me to contact the platformknowing very well its hard to get any resolution.Unfortunately, this feels like a scam. Too many sellers are not delivering what they promise, and Fiverr offers no real support to protect buyers. Be cautiousmany people on the platform are not professionals, and you might end up wasting your money.

I paid 20 for Fiverrs 3month Kickstart program but was never able to use it because their system repeatedly failed to verify my identity despite multiple attempts. When I contacted customer service for a refund, they were unresponsive and eventually stopped replying completely. They took my money for a service I couldnt access due to their technical issues, then refused to make it right. Ive had to file complaints with my credit card company, the FTC and the Better Business Bureau. Completely unprofessional business practices. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.UPDATE Fiverr did finally refund my 20 and I am grateful for that. But only after I posted here and filed a complaint with the BBB. I really wish Fiverrs customer service had been more responsive from the beginning and been willing to work with me like any other reputable business would have. Im not sure if this is a result of human error or an AI bot simply following procedure. Its a shame I am no longer able to use the platform when my situation could have easily been resolved quickly and differently.

Ive used Fiverr for years and have never doubted its service. I recently purchased an app design for 1,800.00 688.00 deposit. The designer John who claimed to be from USA asked me to accept the initial design, which I did and use another profile for the build, because his build team was across the country. I thought this was strange but marked the profile as completed, and proceeded to the next stage using the other profile. To date Ive received nothing. His profile has been closed down and Fiverr customer service said they cant do anything because the order was marked as complete. Ive noticed there are 5 or 6 other profiles all with the same name, the same area and similar logo who are STILL operating on the site, despite me bringing it to customer services attention. I dont recommend Fiverr anymore, its been overrun and it seems Fiverr customer service support it!!

Ive been on Fiverr since 2020. Its opened doors, but staying visible and getting consistent orders has become tough lately. The platform has potential, but recent changes make it harder for dedicated sellers to thrive especially the success score for which Im not qualifying to the next level though I have passed all other matrices. Hoping Fiverr listens more to its longtime freelancers.

A terrible experience with fiver.... They are unprofessional and really cant run a business as you can see from their poor ratings here. I had a joint buyer seller account but only used the buyer where I had some subscriptions. They sent me an 2 email promotions to my account offering 5 discount which I tried to accept but I couldnt as it said I had a joint account.I asked them to swap my joint account into buyer only so I could accept it but they refused. I asked them to then stop sending me emails about a promotion I cant accept on their system, they then sent me 2 more emails to take the 5, again they wouldnt let me accept it. I asked again for them to stop sending me emails about a discount they wont let me have this I think is called FALSE promotion they stated we can try to stop the emails but it might not stop it. LOL so they cant change my account , they cant stop FALSE SPAM emails, what can they do. I asked for the complaints department they stated they dont have one....TERRIBLE POOR SERVICE
