Review Time
This is possibly the worst banking experience I have ever had in my life, avoid these people at all costs!They are impossible to get in touch with, do not respond to emails and regardless of how long you are on hold the wait time gets longer. They have blocked two payments into my account and want me to prove how the other person has got their money before releasing it to me, how am I supposed to prove how a total stranger has got their money? Also I cannot transfer any funds from my account now even though funds are in place. This has been going on over 48 hours with no resolution.

Charley phoned me today to politely check whether, as a new customer (I only opened my account in mid-April), I had been getting on alright with using my 'Essentials' Suits Me card and that I was happy with the service provided in general. She listened patiently as I explained that whilst the card transactions I have made in the past month (about 16) have all worked perfectly and been correctly recorded in the online Statement; I had experienced some slightly bewildering administrative oddities. Initially, I experienced several abortive attempts to activate the account and obtain the card PIN before it all finally sprang into action. Then in the past week week or so, having used the card extensively whilst on holiday, I had received a series of emails suggesting that I had not yet activated or used the account at all, and encouraging me to start doing so!I found these puzzling rather than annoying, but they did make me question the apparent lack of coordination. Charley apologised for these incorrectly sent emails and said she would try to prevent it happening again. She also offered me her personal assistance if I had any other issues in the future, so overall I was very satisfied indeed with this level of customer care. And to repeat, the actual transactions have all gone through without a hitch, and that is the most important fact.
