After having been defrauded of thousands of pounds by a scam online broker, I found reclaimit cyber online who write on their website that they might be able to help get money lost in scams refunded from banks or the Financial Ombudsman Service. At this point I had very little trust in online companies, but was impressed with reclaimit cyber's website which honestly said that you could do the whole complaint/refund request yourself. They even explain how to do it step-by-step.I talked to Ben over the phone who empathetically listened to my long story about my fraud case and asked for details that could be helpful in a refund request. He seem completely honest about what to do, their reasonable fees, and the chance of a successful outcome.When I later wrote back to him, telling him that my wife preferred for us to put the refund request in ourselves, he was completely understanding, and even offered further help and explanation about the process etc. Something he did not have to do. That seemed very unselfish, and reclaimit cyber comes across as a really honest company who's main purpose is to help people who have just been through a really difficult experience, even if it sometimes means that they get no business out of it. I'd like to think that you can still find good honest and helpful people online, and I really think reclaimit cyber belongs to this category.
Having been ripped off by a serficated fraudulent set up and been told by the bank that there was nothing that they could do. The money had been sent by me, so it was my fault. Contacted reclaimit cyber as I had nothing to loose and am happy to say that I got a full refund from the bank! This was money I thought that was lost for good. Refudee have been really good during the whole process and have kept me informed throughout this 'reclaimit cyber!'
I had reported my scam to reclaimit cyber over a year ago and although it took over a year to resolve they managed to get me back some of the funds I had lost.They were very helpful during my case and offered help and advise whenever I needed it.Would definitely recommend using reclaimit cyber to anyone who has fallen victim to crypto currency scams.
reclaimit cyber stepped in to support all of the investors in a UK business that turned out to be - despite a long and (at least initially) successful trading history - an unethical company. They managed the claims process on my/our behalf on a no-win no-fee basis, relieving me/us of the need to act independently; and they obtained a full refund of the investment. As far as I am concerned, that outcome was well worth their success fee.
In June 2021 I and my wife were scammed for ?20000 and ?10000 respectively by fraudsters using a very sophisticated investment scam pertaining to be with Morgan Stanley. Within 24hrs I realised I had been scammed and immediately reported it to my bank Santander. They said they would appoint a member of there fraud team to fully investigate and report to me for more information. Three days later I received a phone call from a member of their Fraud team at 20.45 basically saying they held me fully responsible for the loss of the money and would not be refunding any money. They had not asked for any more information on the scam apart from what I gave them when I initially reported the scam ,which was who I had transferred the money to. I raised a complaint with them that they had not fully investigated my claim but received the same response on three occasions. The response and lack of empathy from their fraud team to a person in their mid seventies I could only put as Appalling. In frustration I looked on line for help on fraud recovery and found reclaimit cyber. I contacted them and spoke to Stuart one of their Directors. I was immediately met with excellent customer service and empathy. After listening to my case and all details of the scam and Santanders response , Stuart believed I had an excellent case for a refund from the bank. He stated they were happy to take my case on but wanted to make me fully aware that I could pursue the case myself with the Financial Ombudsman at no cost. Due to the trauma I had suffered already I decided to give the case to reclaimit cyber.Stuart dealt with the case, putting up with the obstructions from the bank and finally taking it to the Financial Ombudsman. He kept me fully updated on any developments on the case with the least input from myself. After approx six months I was awarded a full refund plus costs and interest by the FOS. against the bank. I cannot recommend reclaimit cyber and Stuart highly enough on how they dealt with my case and myself. Also their fees are far less than most other fraud recovery firms online. We now await the outcome of my wife's case which Stuart is dealing with and was with Nationwide and now the FOS
