Stress free living

Mom moved into her apartment last October and because of the invaluable help we have received from Churchill and in particular Lisa Price Lodge manager at St Nicolas the whole experience was stress free .Lisa is always on hand and very kind and willing and has really helped with every aspect of daily life and helped Mom settle in to Churchills retirement livingThanks for all your support Lisa !

Safety and support in times of illness.

I have lived at Moorhouse Lodge in Huntingdon for just over three years and been an active member of the Lodge. However I longed to be near the sea and planned to move permanently to Scotland, initially buying a holiday home and putting my flat on the market in September. An operation in December and a nasty bacterial infection in the New Year left me feeling very vulnerable and made me re-evaluate my position in relation to moving. The constant support and contact by Roberta our Lodge Manager and other residents of the lodge allayed my fears and made me understand and realise how safe and secure I was living in this type of community environment. It was the wake up call that I needed and which I have acted on. I now have a holiday home and a long term permanent home at Moorhouse, the best of both worlds. I am so pleased I decided not to sell. The work Roberta does to support and care for us all goes above and beyond her remit. I am so grateful that she is there acting on our behalf every day.

New Pooles Lodge

My mother in law lives in new pooles lodge and I attended a painting session there with an artist teaching us. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences and we had the nicest time. Thanks to Mike the lodge manager for arranging. Hopefully we will be able to do it again soon

As a contractor working at LM Mansions

As a contractor working at LM Mansions, I have nothing but good words to say about how I have been treated. The communication with the management has been excellent and efficient. Any interaction with residents has been wonderful, with them often saying how grateful they are for the work I have been doing.Couldn’t be happier

Watling Lodge, Towcester - Just Pefect!

My father moved into Watling Lodge 2 years ago this month and it was the best decision we could have made.He has a wonderful Apartment and a great Community within the Lodge plus a superb Warden, Marion, who ensures he is okay and runs Watling Lodge in a very professional and friendly manner.At 89 my father could not be happier with the Support he gets from Marion, which was needed again last week when he nearly set fire to the microwave in the Kitchen. The way Marion handled the situation and Fire Brigade was excellent and very reassuring.Thank you so much Marion.

Our experience in moving into Spicer

Our experience in moving into Spicer Lodge in Stourbridge has been very easy thanks to the help from Marie, the Manager and friendliness and support of other residents. Particular thanks to the District Manager who helped to carry a heavy piece of furniture up two floors. Ivor & Joan

Outstanding Resident Manager

Our manager Nicola has been with us for one year and during this time has been overworked trying to keep all residents happy with their life here. She goes beyond her duty on many occasions and we could not wish for a better and more sympathetic person Outstanding

Perran Lodge

I'd just like to put on record how happy I am with my mother's living situation in her flat at Perran Lodge in Newquay. I visit often and the building itself is well decorated, well maintained, and always immaculately clean. All the residents seem to be very happy whenever I meet them. They could only be this happy if they are happy with where they are living. There seems plenty for them to do - coffee mornings, film evenings and games nights etc. I've been to a few of these as a guest and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Talking of guests.. The guest suite at Perran Lodge is first class. Comfortable, roomy and always spotlessly clean and at a very affordable rate.A lot of the above I think is due to the leadership of Jayne Broadway. A lovely woman in every way; polite, warm and caring to everyone. Jayne is obviously also highly efficient in running every aspect of life at Perran Lodge. The parent company - Churchill Estates - is lucky to have her. I shall be visiting again soon, and there is a lot of comfort in knowing that it will be a real pleasure.Nigel Rick
