We had an incredible stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.
We have lived in Parkside Court for the last 7 years ,Churchill Estates took over the court in July 2024 , we have had no problem since being taken over .Liz our house manager does a splendid job and goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly.
A friend and I stayed in the guest suite at Dean Lodge, which is a twin room with separate w.c. and shower. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They provide a tv, and tea and coffee. Lovely staff. Very reasonable rates when we come to visit our friend there.
I have lived at Copperfields for 8 years. Helen Parker the Housing Manager is brilliant. She is kind and helpful and goes above and beyond in so many ways. She is very knowledgeable and is willing to help any Resident if they have any problems even in her own time. Resident here are also very kind and look out for each other and we have social functions through the month where we all can meet up. Churchill acquired Copperfields only a few months ago but so far so good.

My parents moved into Lewis Carroll Lodge three years ago and it’s the best thing they could have ever done. I reviewed all the retirement complexes in Gloucestershire and LCL ticked all the boxes. Since their first viewings and since moving in, they have felt like a part of a family/community that is supportive and friendly. This is down to the atmosphere & activities that Yan puts on. He goes above and beyond looking out for my parents and I feel happy knowing he is the Lodge Manager. He is an absolute star and really takes a pride in his work. He is more than a Lodge Manager and hope Yan knows how highly regarded and respected he is by the people that live there and there extended families.
Hamilton Court - NestonMy dad lived at Hamilton Court for approximately 12 years until Nov ‘24. He was very happy there, great community spirit amongst the other residents. Building is well maintained and Pat the manger is wonderful, nothing was ever too much trouble, not sure what I would have done without her! Ellie
