Sold me a lemon scooter (Apollo Go 2024) with a control board that keeps frying the tail light assembly... I already disassembled the scooter once to fix it, now they want me to do my own repair the second time or drive 3.5 hours to a repair facility... they are refusing to replace the scooter. I would stay far far far away from this company... their scooters are low quality and their customer service is terrible. I've only had the scooter for 15 days...Scooter also came pre-scratched, missing a tire valve cover and with a broken brake cable out of the box and their support recommended fixing the brake cable with electrical tape. These people are borderline criminal. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with such a product.UPDATE: Apollo has agreed to replace the scooter with a brand new scooter. Updating to 4 stars to reflect this decision.
I'???ve been using both the Apollo Air and Apollo City (2023) and I'???m genuinely impressed. The Air is lightweight, easy to carry, and perfect for quick city rides. The City has more power, great suspension, and longer range'???ideal for daily commuting. Both feel solid, ride smooth, and the app features are a nice bonus. Apollo nailed the balance between performance and design.'??? Eldon , Toronto
Apollo City Pro 2024 version has a universal manufacturing fault. The base of the stem makes a loud clicking/clunking sound while riding and can be felt up through the handle bars. There are videos, comments and posts littered all across Apollo'???s social links (Facebook, Reddit, YouTube) from users with this exact problem, many of whom have taken to Apollo repair centres or attempted to fix it themselves, unsuccessfully. There are vocal users on their 2nd and even 3rd replacement units that still exhibit the same stem clicking fault. Apollo is quick to dismiss the volume of complaints, ignore you or just tell you to tighten the ''directional nut'', which does NOT solve the problem. Further more their Facebook group Admins will go as far to delete your comments to silence you when you reference the issue there, or tell you the issue only effects 3-4% of users! Laughable. One month old $1800 Scooter and already it is a hazard to ride with more people buying everyday and the company shows zero signs of fixing the root of the problem or even addressing it properly. I am NOT after a replacement unit or even a refund. What I want is a real solution that fixes the scooter I paid for, because aside from this major fault the scooter is quite good. What's most embarrassing is I was told to avoid Apollo Scooters like the plague before purchase as ''their customer support is dreadful'' and even still I foolishly ignored these warnings and fell for their effective marketing.I sincerely hope they make this right.
Bought a two scooter deal just before Christmas. Products arrived on time and well packaged as expected. Both scooters have met expectations for quality especially uphill, this was one of the factors in choosing Apollo over other bigger brands.
I just exceeded 100 kl or 60 miles on my Apollo Phantom 2.0. My first scooter was a lower cost not Apollo scooter I was very unhappy, so I did more research and discovered Apollo. The pirce was much higher than my first one. My phontom 2.0 arrived and wow every thing was so much better, packaging, fit and finish, the ryde quality, range, speed. All so good. Long story short, Apollo scooters cost a bit more, but I think it's very well worth the price. Quality and reliability = Apollo. Thanks much Apollo, please keep up the great work.
