I'm very grateful that I contacted reclaimit cyber after being the victim of a rental scam, due to a data breach which led to my information being leaked. As you can imagine, this left me quite distressed, and I was having difficulties getting through to my bank, as well as being unsure exactly how to go about recovering the money. The lettings company refused to refund me, despite admitting that they were responsible. This left me with my bank as my only chance to get refunded - this is what reclaimit cyber specialise in. Stuart, reclaimit cyber's company Director, is an incredibly helpful individual and very responsive via email and phone. The entire process was extremely easy all the way through, because of his expert advice. I am pleased to say that my claim was successful, and my bank opted to refund the full amount that was lost through the scam. reclaimit cyber are the most fantastic company and I am delighted that I discovered them. I would highly recommend them if you have been unfairly defrauded as they will really support you to recover your money if it is at all possible, especially if other avenues have failed. Dealing with a big bank when you have just given away a lot of money to a scammer is a very unhappy experience. By contrast, reclaimit cyber is a small company but big on expertise. After being scammed ?2,300 when I was 18 and unaware of social media scams, I was devastated. I put a case through with reclaimit cyber, honestly expecting nothing to come from it because I probably should’ve done more checks to prevent myself from being scammed. I was a victim of a romance / crypto scam fraud at the end of 2021 & start of 2022 , I stupidly lost tens of thousands & was in despair , I couldn’t believe it happened .I contacted action fraud & they virtually just said wave goodbye to the money , I then was looking at recovery company’s & came across reclaimit cyber . I decided to call but was unsure because of my mistrust of everything online & first talked to a guy called Ben procter , he explained the way the system worked & was very sympathetic to the situation I was in , I was feeling lost & in despair & suicidal , Ben spoke to me like a person who cared & made me feel at ease & comfortable , I decided to let reclaimit cyber take on my case & they even said I could do it myself & offer advice I first had to sign some forms over email then I had to email them all my evidence against the scammer & detail any conversations with my banks involved , when Ben read the evidence & through our conversations he & their investigators decided the bank was at fault so decided to go down that route of getting the money back via that route .During the whole process we were in contact via email & phone conversations & if Ben wasn’t available other members of the team were available notably Stuart & WilliamMy case was referred to the financial ombudsman service who decided in my favour , the bank contested the decision & offered a lower figure but I decided to stick with the original FOS judgement , during this decision I was in phone contact with Ben & he guided me but always said the decision was mine , I always felt relaxed talking to Ben just like he was a mate in the pub , the outcome was about a 95% of all money originally lost getting paid back , in all the process took about 6 or 7 months ( there was a covid backlog at the FOS ) & I ended up paying reclaimit cyber a 15% fee , I truly believe it was the BEST phone call I’ve ever made & would recommend them to anybody who’s fallen for any financial scam , thanks to Ben , Stuart , William & reception girls & all reclaimit cyber staff xx100% a 5 ?????????? company & service
