I would like to show my appreciation of Caroline -Gidea Lodge. As a contract cleaner here I see firsthand the way Caroline interacts with both residents and their families.Every visitor to Gidea Lodge is welcomed with a smile. Caroline with always take time to listen to any concerns raised and these are dealt with in a kind and caring manner nothing is too much trouble, she will work over her time to solve any issues without complaint.
I have owned a one bedroom Churchill apartment for nine years. In that time there have been several Lodge Managers. For the last two years plus, Ilona has been the manager and I have to say she is the best one by a long way. She is hard working and does her best to keep costs down which is not an easy task. Ilona always has time to listen to the residents and everything she does for their comfort has a unique personal touch. No one ever put flowers on the tables before or thought to put a plate of biscuits out when a few residents meet in the afternoons. Nothing is too much trouble, Ilona is always cheerful and has time for everyone. If anyone has a problem, it is dealt with quickly and efficiently. She is more than a manager, she is a friend. I awarded one star less than the maximum because of the high cost of living here. The service charge and ground rent are both high. I have a relative who lives in a two bedroom retirement apartment and pays half the service charge I do. Furthermore, he has gas central heating whereas I have ineffectual, electric convectors which the manufacturer told me are designed for background heat rather than to heat a whole room. The outside wall is not insulated which naturally causes the rooms to be very cold. Living here is costly and cold.
We moved to Stanley Lodge in Epsom five months ago - from a very large decrepit bungalow to a very expensive wonderful apartment. At the outset it appeared to have ticked most of our boxes. Sadly however some health and safety issues have arisen and these appear to be of no concern to Churchill management. Of course it well may be that these have been addressed but it would be helpful if we were notified of their actions and of any concluding results. In the absence of these we find the Churchill Lodge ethos of'safety, security and happiness' have not been realised and, sadly we do not see a light to this tunnel of problems.
I oversee the sales at Park Rise. I am so delighted with the way Churchill are managing the Park Rise development. The shining star is Maureen who is always professional, extremely efficient and as well as getting the job done does it with a smile, an absolute asset. Our residents know they can trust her and she has their interests at heart. Stuart is also an asset, second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and he goes above and beyond to assist where needed even if its outside of his daily remit, if he can and has time he will help. I am so happy to be able to promote that we have Churchill managing the development, Maureen and Stuart are both outstanding in all ways. I look forward to our continuing working relationships.
Sarah - Bramble Lodge Manager Sarah contacted me a few years ago to carry out some repairs in Bramble Lodge. Since then, I have returned many times to either quote for work or carry out repairs. Sarah is a lovely manager. Whenever I pop in, Sarah is always interacting with the owners in the communal room. It must be a very challenging job to be the first point of call to all of the apartment owners within the lodge.
I have been coming to visit my Mum who has been living in this lodge for a few year now.Aziza the manager really makes you welcome, the visitors room is always clean and tidy, comfortable beds and now has a small fridge very useful if you have to take medication that needs to be stored this way. I have already booked my next stay later on in the year.My mum lovers her flat and enjoys meeting the other residents. Aziza has a hart of gold nothing is ever as issue. She gets most of the residents involved in something at least once a week which is really good so they can socialise.
Waterside Lodge, TonbridgeI have the pleasure of washing the bins at this property and Wendy is always friendly and helpful. The bin store is always kept clean and fresh and the property is in really good condition. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely place to live in the heart of Tonbridge.
