Review of Evri
Totally dissatisfied. My package - an Ebay sale - is coming from Australia to US. Tracking number was not given to me by either Ebay or Evri, although another very long but totally useless number was. Evri cannot track my package except thru postal code. I had to contact seller to confirm they had my correct postal code. Seller also had to give me correct tracking number. When I input the correct postal code that's on my package label, from the very first digit I was told the code was incorrect. WTF? Evri's chat never goes to a live agent, and chat never answered my questions. Just printed same questions over and over. If I want to contact a live agent, I have to call a foreign country. Why is there no US-based number? I contacted Ebay for help. They said to contact the seller. Why? Package was delivered to US a week ago, so it's out of seller's hands. Now it's Evri's, or Ebay's responsibility, not seller's. Five hours ago Evri notified me that my package had been delivered. It has not. Evri needs to step up. Ebay needs to step up. This lack of clarity is unacceptable and not even necessary. Makes me VERY leery of ever ordering anything on Ebay located outside the US again.Got my response from "Becky", which was as canned as the responses from Evri chat. My note points out that a) Evri chat, which "Becky" recommends, never answered my questions (or even allowed me to leave a phone number or tracking number); and b) I will have to call a foreign number (which I will be charged for), but nevertheless "Becky" recommends I call, totally ignoring my previous message. I would have been happier getting no answer at all than getting "Becky" 's canned and pointless response. I assume Evri has my tracking number and my phone number. Why don't they just look into this for me? So called "CUSTOMER SERVICE" AT ITS WORST. This should go in MBA text books on how not to do business.
