Damaged fridge item at delivery

American fridge freezer purchase. Ex display near perfect in showroom but when bubble wrap removed at the home delivery there were up to 10 dents in both doors. The item was refused leaving us with no fridge or freezer. The item was originally purchased at the Hove branch of Curry’s no more than 2 miles from our home but surprisingly delivered from Snodland. I was assured by the sales team in Hove that our purchase would be deliver with no damage caused in transit. This was proven to be untrue and the delivery drivers were like ourselves shocked to see the damage and very sympathetic. We now have to wait at least 5 days for a substantial refund and again compromised by having no fridge or freezer facilities.
