Sting was amazing as always, the setting was superb, sound was spot on. What spoilt it for us was the security staff! We followed all the rules about taking drinks in, no glass and decanted our wine and lemonade into a plastic soda bottle. At security, she opened the top sniffed it and said '? ? ?you take that in'? ? ?! My friend said it rose wine with lemonade, you can'? ? ?t buy it in plastic bottles but the woman was adamant she couldn'? ? ?t take it in. We'? ? ?d been honest, careful, followed the rules to the letter and it ruined my friends night. Also her husband took JD and lemonade in a plastic bottle and had that confiscated too as the woman told him it has to be sealed!!! It was until she opened it. She wouldn'? ? ?t even let us pour it in plastic glasses and carry it in, she threw it in a bin. That shocking! We wish now we'? ? ?d not been honest and hid it in our chairs like so many other people we saw drinking out of glass bottles, water bottles, plastic water containers hidden upon themselves and we carried ours in a cool box. To be honest if drinks were cheaper people wouldn'? ? ?t mind paying it but '? ?8 a pint is scandalous so next time we go to another Forest Live concert, we'? ? ?ll be dishonest and hide it on our person like everyone else!! Honesty didn'? ? ?t pay this time. We'? ? ?re in our 60 too so not raging alcoholic teenagers, just sensible true Sting fans!!
