Resale of tickets -long delays in payment

So its the first time I resold my tickets via ticketmaster. Unfortunately due to illness I couldn't attend a gig, so I thought I would use the offical channels to resale at a vastly reduced price as the gif wasn't sold out and I just wanted some money back. Anyway I set everything up and the tickets sold really quickly. Then I waited and waited and waited. I chase up the payment, but apparently you have to wait 17 working days! Why I don't know as these type of payments are instant. Anyway after chasing and chasing I was told a manual payment has been processed - why manual when everything is automated and I now have to wait a further 10 days! 27 days for money to be paid I to my account, what a joke. No wonder people sell via other channels
