The strap kept pinging off my wrist

The strap kept pinging off my wrist. To the point where my screen is now cracked on my garmin vivoactive 4s. I've had this watch for 5 years and never been close to breaking it, within 3 weeks of having the new strap my screen was broke. Very frustrating, I have emailed customer services twice now and no response. Don't bother, spend the extra pennies and buy a real garmin strap. It's going to cost me '? ?120 to get mine fixed plus a new garmin watch strap.
