How to pay the 'fee'?

I had 10.58 ETH. I could not send it: Available: 0.00.But in the list, total under, I saw: 10.58 ETH.I doesn't understand that.If I clicked on this amount, than I couldn't send.I read: You must have 0.0013 ETH for the fee.I doesn't understand that: I HAD 10.58 ETH.Then in the window of 'Swap' there was a button to buy ETH. That is what I did: I bought ETH for $ 100, with my credit-card (fiat).And after that, I could send my ETH to a crypto-exchanger. without any problem.
