Better - dona??t bother, the admin are incompetent

Wea??ve been better members since 2013, joined via an offer via my employer. I signed up for a family membership & everything was great. My kids both reached 18 so came off the offer leaving me & my wife. We both attended the Workington sports centre weekly.Over the last few years the admin team must have changed as they continually request proof of employment- which Ia??ve provided, however my wife was apparently emailed by better requesting proof of employment- an email she never received! However better would not address the issue without response from the missing email - why was she was being asked for proof of employment when the account was in my name I have no idea - everything was in my name therefore what difference would her employment / employer make in this situation??She had her access suspended - & was told so at the desk in front of people we had trained with for the last 10 years or so - this caused extreme embarrassment to my wife at the time. We called customer services who promised a manager would call to sort out / discuss the issue within 48 hours - no call. (A call could have addressed the whole issue)Due to the constant hassle & ineptitude of better customer services we decided to cancel our membership If only things had remained how they were wea??d still be there
