If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I wish I read the other reviews before trading in my phone to this company. Avoid like the plague and don’t make the same mistake I did. They may have good reviews for buying through them, but selling to them is nothing but hassle.I traded in an iPhone 14 256g in good condition, only light scratches - the usual wear and tear. My initial offer of ?371 was reduced to ?145 after reviewing- something to do with the battery health and charge cycles, as well as visible marks on the screen - yes, they are visible but they’re light and this is stated in the various quality grades when we state what condition it’s in. I declined the offer. A few days later I get a revised offer of ?165 which I promptly declined again. To my surprise, I get an almost immediate counter offer of ?200 because “ we hate letting devices slip out of our grasp so our pricing manager is making one final attempt to purchase your device in its current condition”. I wonder how many people just accept these ridiculous offers??? I’ve asked for my device back a few times now, called them, emailed, but I’m still waiting. I’ve secured another price of ?378 elsewhere but of course I need to get my device to them within a certain timeframe. For context, my husband traded his device in elsewhere, it was an iPhone 14 128gb which was faulty- it turned off every 2.5 minutes and apple wanted to charge ?410 to replace the whole inner workings of the device, when he traded it in he declared it faulty and the initial price he was offered of ?272.50 was honoured and transferred into his bank the day his device was received and checked.Utterly useless company, just give me my phone back before I take this further as there are clearly other people who feel the same way I do.
