Appalling - Avoid at all Costs

Frankly appalling service from UR.co.uk.I tried to sell my iPhone 11 as I have recently upgraded, I was quoted ?156 after comparing prices on moneysupermarket.The first time I was told I’d receive a prepaid postage pack which never arrived and after calling twice and being assured it was on its way, my quote then expired.I decided to give them another chance and just requested a QR code, packaged the phone myself and took it to a post office. I packaged the phone in its original box and included all the warranty docs and a lightning charger cable, then sealed it in a postage bag.A few days later I had an email from UR amending the quote as the battery was below 80% in efficiency (something that was never a term of the quote) and despite there being some minor scratches to the outer case through wear and tear - they then tried to allege there were ‘deep scratches’ to the screen. (I have used screen protectors from day 1 and there is not even a minor scratch to the screen).This resulted in an insulting reduced quote of ?45 which I can only assume is a sales tactic to drastically underpay for used phones as the small print gives you 72 hours to reply or they will take it as acceptance of the quote.Interestingly, when trying to reject the quote online via the email link, the revised quote was ‘not found’ meaning I again had to call directly to reject this.To top it all off I received my phone back a couple of days later in a battered box for a different model iPhone with no documents or charger included.My advice would be to avoid them at all cost unless you’re happy with an insulting offer for your device or happy to receive it back in a poorer condition than you sent it.I have now sold it on Facebook for slightly less value but compared to the hassle this has caused it’s a small price to pay.
