Wowcher holiday fail

Edit: originally a 2 star review, now one star following borderline harassment from multiple sales agents who called a total of 17 times in the space of two days, all outwith my requested contact times following the below review. I eventually had to pick up the phone at one point as they called 4 times in the space of 3 minutes in the middle of my working day. I should point out, at no point did I request to be contacted to discuss my holiday further or ask to speak to a manager.I was also emailed, and told to call and ask for Sydney. I called twice after work yesterday, and the person I was told to speak to was unavailable so a suitable time was arranged the following day. I had asked to be contacted between 6 and 7, they called at 7:05 (which felt a touch intentional). Offered a hotel upgrade and when I declined this due to the location of the hotel. I was then offered a partial refund of ?40 on the condition that I changed my review to 5 stars and stated the issue was resolved. I declined and was then offered ?50 on the same condition, even though “this would put the company at a loss”.My initial problem was not with the company but rather the ‘deal’ that was advertised. A 2 night trip to Dublin on RyanAir, in a 3 star hotel (above a nightclub!) is not worth the ?129pp, let alone the ?169pp that has now been paid. I was still looking forward to making the most of the situation but now have concerns as to the legitimacy and integrity of this company.Somewhat disappointed, purchased the Wowcher mystery holiday and have ended up paying surplus for a pretty basic couple of days in Dublin. Should highlight that the agent, Harry, was very informative and keen to help, taking time to give prices and flight information for different locations on my request. What really surprised me was paying an additional ?40pp on top of ?129pp vouchers because we are flying from Edinburgh. Although the fees of up to ?40pp are highlighted for “regional airports” our flights came to ?40pp for the return, so not sure why this extra money has been needed. In the end, we have paid ?170 each for a holiday currently on their website for ?130pp. Had we booked online we would have saved ?80. The Agent was also unable to book a double room despite this being an option on the website for an additional fee (we are booked for a twin room). Wish we’d done more research into the company before buying the voucher.
