I ordered a wind instrument from Thomann in Germany and when it arrived in the UK, it was badly split, which I freely accept is just bad luck. Having gone through the stress of returning it, the exchange instrument arrived today and it is more badly split than the original, which is both wholly unprofessional and insulting! This was intended as a happy reward, but has now turned into utter misery. I do not recommend buying from Thomann if you are not local to them, they obviously have no concept of quality control or customer service, as the misery express would not still be running a high speed service through the middle of my life, if they did!I wish I had never ordered anything from them, but definitely will never buy anything from them again.
