TOTALLY HONEST REVIEW: I am giving Mene a 5 star rating, though there were complications and issues with returns and restocking fees....but they have GREAT customer service and, thought it was a process, they made everything right in the end. I had been looking for a 24K gold ring and was close to making a purchase from an Etsy seller that had a similar band to Mene's Classic Wide Band. The band on Etsy in my size was over $2500. I then stumbled upon Mene in my google search. I was impressed by the options and the transparency of pricing and their classic wide band was only $1255 in my size. I do want to address this for other reviewers who comment on the "high mene fee". I am a jewelry designer and dealer for the largest Jewelry manufacturer in the U.S. I found their Mene's prices to be extremely low. Just to compare, I went online to my manufacturing company and chose a basic stocked wedding band similar in style to Mene's classic band. I found a finger size that had a weight that was within .2g of the Mene ring and ordered it in 22K gold. They will not make pure 24K gold pieces, so 22K was the purest I can order a ring in. Once in my cart, the 22K Band was $28 less than the 24K Mene Band of the same weight...and that is my wholesale dealer cost....I still have to mark up that ring to sell. I also have to pay extra for shipping and it does not come in any fancy packaging or certificate etc. So anyone who thinks Meme has high prices, think again! Mene is simply selling the gold at market price and the Mene fee to turn that gold into a beautiful piece of jewelry is about 40% of the cost of the gold. That is LOW! No jeweler is selling their jewelry with only a 40% Mark up! Go to a DY store and you'll find that you can pay more for a ring that is 95% sterling silver with a tiny accent of 18k or 22k gold. Through the process, which was about 3 weeks total. I first ordered a Classic Wide Band in size 10. The band arrived beautifully, but I realized I ordered it for my wedding ring finger and I an not married, so it wasn't the right look. I was aware of the 10% restock fee and asked customer service if they could waive the fee if I ordered another piece to replace this one. They agreed that if I placed the order prior to initiating the return, they would waive the fee and they did. The 2nd order was the much heavier Palmette Ring in size 7 as a pinky ring. The palmette ring was a bit smaller than I expected though very heavy and beautiful. The pattern gave the ring a different looking finish compared the classic band and it just wasn't as luminous and glowing as the plain band was. Again, I asked if it purchased a replacement for the Palmette ring prior to return, if they would waive the fee, and they did. Ring 3 was the etched arrow band. Based on the images online, I thought the band was narrow, like 4mm. I asked for measurements and was given 6mm wide by 2mm thick. Same dimensions as the classic wide band, yet a significantly lower weight. I knew these measurements were wrong, so I asked if they could reach out the manufacturing team and confirm those measurements. They did, but they doubled down on the measurement being correct. When the ring arrived, as I expected, it was only 4.2mm wide, not 6mm. I chatted with customer service and were willing to let me return the ring based on misinformation. I bought the etched arrow ring to fit my middle finger and at 4.2mm wide, it was a small look on that finger. I then ordered the classic Wide Band AGAIN, in a larger size that fit my pointer finger. My memory of the classic band being so luminous and glowing color was maybe a bit exaggerated, so when it arrived I was not as in love as I expected. Also, they shipped the wrong ring weight. In the meantime, I decided to keep the Etched Arrow ring until the band arrived just to have two to compare. I did later discover that the etched arrow ring sized for my middle finger, also fit my Thumb. I have never worn a thumb ring, but the narrow band look perfect there and, being more exposed and closer to view, I quickly grew to love the detail and glow of the ring and decided to keep it. They provided a label to return the Classic Wide Band, but sent some terms to agree to. While they were not charging a restocking fee, the only options given was the Mene credit. I don't want to be forced to make a purchase ever, so store credits don't work for me. I replied to the email explaining that almost every ring I received has some element of surprise or did not exactly have the dimensions I was given in advance. After rehashing the issues with each purchase, they agreed to allow a return for refund and restored 2 promotional credits I had used. I just received a refund for the 4th ring and I am happy with my etched arrow ring. I am still interested in purchasing more products. Just communicate with Customer service and ask questions...you'll have a better experience.
