(Linley and Simpson Beverley branch) I rented the property 2 years ago and received it in a bad state but at a discounted rate for the size and location of the property due to the state of the extremely poor filthy condition. This included dog urine stains on the carpets, a filthy greasy kitchen which needed professionally deep cleaning, and half painted walls to name just a few. Since moving in I have raised a number of issues with the agent including a shower that was defective, but every time I raised an issue I just got fobbed off. Ia ? ?ve recently ended my tenancy with Linley and Simpson and left the property in a much better cleaner state then when I received it. Ia ? ?ve just received an email from the letting agency informing me that a number of issues need rectifying at my expense! Issues that dona ? ?t exist all to keep all or part of my deposit! The property has been fully decorated and updated during my tenancy by myself and at my own expense including a full professional deep clean and having the carpets professionally cleaned.The customer service of the staff at the Beverley branch (not all of them) but more than one is extremely unprofessional! Before signing for your tenancy they seem welcoming and make you feel at ease, but as soon as you sign for the property they really arena ? ?t interested in any issue or concern you may have! I wouldna ? ?t recommend Linley and Simpson to my worst enemy and after reading many reviews it looks as though this is standard practice for this fraudulent company! I wish Ia ? ?d have done my research before hand and found a more reputable professional letting agency.
